  • Okay, we already know that there's a serious crisis of faith in Ireland, but I didn't realize that it was quite this bad. Here's a video of two young Irish brothers who reverted back to the Catholic faith, but discovered the Church of Nice instead. They began attending the TLM about a year ago.

It's a Michael Voris interview, which I know some folks here won't like, but really it's quite good, in my opinion.

"It is licit to resist a Sovereign Pontiff who is trying to destroy the Church. I say it is licit to resist him in not following his orders and in preventing the execution of his will. It is not licit to Judge him, to punish him, or to depose him, for these are acts proper to a superior."

  • Thank you for posting, Meg.

    Very astute young men.

I think they hit the nail on the head when they talk of feminized priests and generations of men with no one to look up to. They are also correct about the new church's view of a snuggly bunny, hippie jesus.
    Matthew 6:34
" Be not therefore solicitous for to morrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof."

  • You're so right, Mama Cha Cha. These guys were rightly repulsed by the feminized clergy in Ireland, which caused them to go to evangelical Protestantsim. But that's when, ironically, they dicovered Scripture, and realized that there's more to Jesus than just "Love."

I've found that most of the readings at the Novus Ordo are geared toward making Our Lord seem like he's only about peace and love. Very little about justice. I hope that these boys try to do something about the deplorable situation in Ireland.

  • I just came back from Ireland.  We gave our friends brown scapulars.
We bought our Irish Godson a Booklet on Confession from sspx chapel.

Most Irish Households we have been to still have Sacred Heart pictures hanging.
May God bless you and keep you

  • My best friend advised us that the evangelicals are targeting farmers in county Donegal.

May God bless you and keep you

  • Viva Cristo Rey, is the situation the part of Ireland that you visited as bad as is described in the video? Glad to hear that most Irish households that you visited still have the Sacred Heart pictures hanging.

Sad that Donegal is being targeted by evangelicals.

So THIS is the reason for all of those posts about my country by VCR!

Which chapel did you go to?
