Every few months someone comments on the fact we no longer have men and women separated at Mass (or maybe any function held in the church e.g. missions etc) Personally, I don't remember this practice from the '40's and '50's in Canada.
One of the daily Masses I watch is from the SSPX Church of the Immaculate Conception in Warsaw Poland. This church follows the practice of women on the Epistle side and men on the Gospel side. It's quite evident at Communion time. This picture is taken from the daily evening Mass. There don't appear to be any children in attendance. All the countries of Europe have an SSPX evening Mass which can be seen in North America around noon.
Unfortunately, Belgium France Germany and Switzerland all have their cameras aimed in the sanctuary only so one can't tell if they also separate during Mass.
