"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." So far, one customer review at 5 stars!  Was that your mother, or Griff's?   :)

It's actually an "impeded" See, as the Catholic Encyclopedia mentions: "Sede Romana Impedita"

Unfortunately, the book doesn't mention the term.
"there can be no holiness where there is disagreement with the pope" - Pope St. Pius X

Today, only Catholics holding the sedevacantist position are free from the anguish entailed by this truth.

  • The link does not work for me. Is the title then See Vacante? I looked that up on Amazon, and the options would not work either when I clicked on them. They also showed huge prices.

Oh JPaul.  I remember you.  You are the guy that often hides his hateful sneers under the guise of  :laugh1: and hates me because I understand EENS as the Church does.
This part my forward should resonate with you:

  • And...here he goes again. It's quite fascinating that LOT and company always have to add the qualifier "understand as the church does" when they talk about EENS. The reason is because they know that their understanding is not what the actual dogma says. LOT and others like him do not believe the dogma as it is written like we are supposed to. They are forced to redefine what it means to be in the Church and redefine what the Church is. It is in this way that they can simultaneously claim they believe the dogma while denying its clear words.

The Council of Florence said "Holy baptism, which is the gateway to the spiritual life, holds the first place among all the sacraments; through it we are made members of Christ and of the body of the Church.  And since death entered the universe through the first man, ‘unless we are born again of water and the Spirit, we cannot,’ as the Truth says, ‘enter into the kingdom of heaven’ [John 3:5].  The matter of this sacrament is real and natural water.” Here the council defined what the body of the Church and members of Christ are. They are those who have received the Sacrament of Baptism. There is no way around this.

The Fourth Lateran Council said “THERE IS INDEED ONE UNIVERSAL CHURCH OF THE FAITHFUL, outside of which nobody at all is saved, in which Jesus Christ is both priest and sacrifice.” This states that the faithful make up the Church excluding those who don't have the literal Catholic faith.

Pope Pius XII reiterated both of these Dogmas in Mystici Corporis "Actually only those are to be numbered among the members of the Church who have received the laver of regeneration and profess the true faith.” Therefore making any other understanding of the EENS Dogma, than to mean those who have been Sacramentally Baptized and hold the Catholic faith will be saved, incorrect and heresy.
This isn't a feenyite forum.  Try as you might you can't outsmart the theologians and legitimate authorities with your inventions.

LOE is another willing victim of those "well respected" 19th and 20th century theologians who needed to abandon that meaning of the sacred dogmas as declared by Holy Mother Church, under the pretext or in the name of a more profound understanding in their effort to explain how the Church *really* understands that dogma.

The truth is that certain "theologians and legitimate authorities" are the ones with the inventions.

Use Father Fenton as an example of one of the "well respected" 20th century theologian. He makes very clear as if it is fact that there is no salvation outside the Church and that non-members can be saved, which, as Fr. Feeney rightly pointed out - "is the most diabolical double-talk ever uttered in the name of religious teaching!"

I've been on other forums since I have been on this and this is probably the least charitable one, and the lack of charity coincides with the abundance of feeneyites.  It seems they take their cue from the Dimonds.  I will stick with the forum rules and not post on the feeneyite heresy away from the feeneyite forum.  You all are so tame on the sites that don't allow to post on the issue.  But here I'm motivated to post on the issue so others won't get suckered in on your novelty.

Please stay on those other forums then; it was nicer around here without you constantly promoting your heresies.

I post on SD occasionally and they have rules that I respect and adhere to even though I disagree - the owner makes the rules and like here, whoever doesn't want to abide by his rules shouldn't post there.

You keep posting errors by the bucket full, over and over and over it's the same old errors - it is for that reason that I refer to you as LOE. You will not accept correction even for the most obvious errors you promote, instead, you keep posting error after error which only demonstrates that you love errors - hence the moniker is entirely appropriate and is not actually meant to be disrespectful or uncharitable.
