  • You would have the above denying the dogmas of the Church and the teaching of Our Lord.  We know that cannot be true, otherwise you would be quoting from heretics and beside that, speculating is not disagreeing but, using speculative possibilities to challenge the doctrine of the Church and Sacred Scripture definitely is disagreeing and dissenting.
Do I really have to bust out all the quotes that prove you to be heretical again, just so you can say they all, one and all can be rejected or don't mean what they say?
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. If I have ever expressed myself erroneously on this Sacrament, I submit to the judgement of the Holy Roman Church, in obedience of which I now part from this world." You have no quotes which have the authority of the Church's defintive dogmatic canons and pronouncements or the teaching of Jesus Christ.

  • FR. EDUARDUS GENICOT, S.]., Theologiae Moralis Institutiones (Vol. II), Tractatus XII, 1902
Baptism of the Spirit (flaminis) consists in an act of perfect charity or contrition, with which there is always an infusion of sanctifying grace connected...
Both are called “of desire” (in voto)...; perfect charity, because it has always connected the desire, at least the implicit one, of receiving this sacrament, absolutely necessary for salvation.
"I receive Thee, redeeming Prince of my soul. Out of love for Thee have I studied, watched through many nights, and exerted myself: Thee did I preach and teach. I have never said aught against Thee. Nor do I persist stubbornly in my views. Baptism, the gate and foundation of the Sacraments, in fact or at least in desire, is necessary for all unto salvation...

Fr. Aloysia Sabetti and Fr. Timotheo Barrett? Whoever they are, they sure don't know there is only one baptism.

St. Paul taught; One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
Hey LOE, how many baptisms are there?

  • FR. LUDOVICO BILLOT, S.J., De Ecclesiae Sacmmentis (Vol. I); Quaestio LXVI; Thesis XXIV - 1931:
Baptism of spirit (flaminis), which is also called of repentance or of desire, is nothing else than an act of charity or perfect contrition including a desire of the Sacrament, according to what has been said above, namely that the heart of everyone is moved by the Holy Ghost to believe, and to love God, and to be sorry for his sins.

Another nobody 20th century theologian, this one renounced his office rather than submit to the pope!

    Fr. Ludovico Billot, from Wikipedea.......

He harshly criticized Pope Pius XI's conduct with regard to Action française , a Catholic tradition founded by Charles Maurras and condemned by the Holy See in 1926 (condemnation removed by pope Pius XII in 1939 ). The Action française published a critical article on the Catholic Church, and Cardinal Billot sent a message of adhesion.

The high prelate was summoned to the Vatican on September 13, 1927 and received in audience by the Pope . In the Roman Curia was well known the irascible character of Pius XI and his tendency to treat the cardinals with great severity and expected a bright confrontation with the papal study. On the contrary, the hearing was strangely short and silent. A few minutes after his arrival, Billot left the room without a packet, ring and chest cross: he had renounced the cardinal dignity, outraged by the strong position of the pontiff and the Secretariat of State against the Action française. His resignation was accepted on 21 October by the pope.

by which Baptism properly speaking can be supplied, if this be impossible.
Can someone supply the basis for proposing that God can be found impotent and unable to save one of His elect?  These unknown and unchangeable events are largely the basis for most of these Pelagian modes of thought.
Things seem to happen which thwart God's perfect Justice so that He is then compelled to use His Mercy to set thing aright again.

What is it that is impossible for God or His chosen?
