For whom do Sedevancantists pray the first Pater, the three Aves and the Gloria? Is it prayed for the future Holy Father? Just wondering...
Loving mother of the Redeemer, gate of heaven, star of the sea, assist your people who have fallen yet strive to rise again. To the wonderment of nature you bore your Creator, Yet remained a virgin after as before. You who received Gabriel's joyful greeti

  • Thank you. One other question, if I may ask... I've often wondered how it could be that a new Pope could get elected validly, given the fact that it's been over forty years.

There was no college of Cardinals for the first few years of Christianity. It would fall onto the clergy of the Roman diocese to elect their bishop. Or if there were no clergy, the faithful.

Others speak of prophecies that the new pope would be divinely revealed.

Others say that because there is no one to elect the next valid pope, then we must be in the end times!!!

But in reality, and historically, the Cardinals have not always been used to elect a pope.

Though I am for record not a "sede", have heard that prediction as well, during hte yrs the Pope is murdered and the Church leaderless..though it has happened in the past, do not feel it is currently going on, but will in future.....during the Troubles.....

  • of few examples:

Pope St. Pius X: I have seen one of my successors, of the same name, who was fleeing over the bodies of his brethren. He will take refuge in some hiding place; but after a brief respite, he will die a cruel death. Respect for God has disappeared from human hearts. They wish to efface even God's memory. This perversity is nothing less than the beginning of the last days of the world."

Brother John of the Cleft Rock (14th Century): "Towards the end of the world, tyrants and hostile mobs will rob the Church and the clergy of all their possessions and will afflict and martyr them. Those who heap the most abuse upon them will be held in high esteem. At that time, the Pope with his cardinals will have to flee Rome in tragic circuмstances to a place where they will be unknown. The Pope will die a cruel death in his exile. The sufferings of the Church will be much greater than at any previous time in her history. But God will raise a holy Pope, and the Angels will rejoice. Enlightened by God, this man will rebuild almost the whole world through his holiness. He will lead everyone to the true Faith. Everywhere, the fear of God, virtue, and good morals will prevail. He will lead all erring sheep back to the fold, and there shall be one faith, one law, one rule of life, and one baptism on earth. All men will love each other and do good, and all quarrels and wars will cease."

After the three days of darkness, St. Peter and St. Paul, having come down from Heaven, will preach in the whole world and designate a new Pope. A great light will flash from their bodies and will settle upon the cardinal who is to become Pope. Christianity, then, will spread throughout the world. He is the Holy Pontiff, chosen by God to withstand the storm. At the end, he will have the gift of miracles, and his name shall be praised over the whole earth. Whole nations will come back to the Church and the face of the earth will be renewed. Russia, England, and China will come into the Church." (Prophecy of Blessed Anna Maria Taigi (1769-1837 A.D.) who was Beatified by Pope Bendedict XV in 1920

" Church was usurped in 1958, by Roncalli (John XXIII), a 33 degree Freemason; in 1958 Cardinal Siri was elected pope but Roncalli stole the throne. "

Why did not Siri fight then for legit throne, as had other Popes?

  • There are lots of reasons that he may not have fought for it. Perhaps he was drugged, or some other horrible thing.

    Remember Cardinal Mindzenty.

Don't believe anything I say once I've been caught.

    Or something of that nature.
