Ask the Neo-Caths if they would obey if the Pope allowed women to be ordained.
They will either say yes which shows they are consistent but insane.
They will say it couldn't happen. That means if it did they would have to become Sedes.
They will say they would refuse to obey but he would still be Pope which makes them hypocrites for attacking the Society.
I have asked many Conciliar Catholics this question.
The liberal Novus Ordo types say they would have no problem with it and the answer is therefore, "Yes." If pressed, they say it's only a matter of time.
The conservative Novus Ordo types say that it wouldn't happen but equivocate as whether it could happen and suggest that, if the pope says it's ok, then...well...he has the power of the keys and it's now a done deal and the "policy" against women priests have been "loosed" both on earth
and in heaven and therefore, women priests are, from that point forward, perfectly acceptable.
Catholics who are completely attached to the Conciliar structures but who worship mostly with indult communities (such as ICK or FSSP) say it can't happen and absolutely refuse to speculate in, what they say, is an absolute impossible hypothetical. When pressed, however, they refuse to say they would disobey or resist and tend to suggest that they would ultimately come to the same conclusion as the conservative Novus Ordo types I described above.
unles you are a member, you cannot view their discussions I think
Actually, you can view their discussions, you just can't access them directly. You have to go through they main menu, select which forum you want to view and which topic. You also can't, obviously, post anything. I was just browsing the forum but didn't see the specific post that started this CathInfo topic. I am not a member, nor do I intend to ever become a member.
