  • More and more it is becoming apparent that Trad Church politics are an evil in themselves.

Your avatar... is it St. Mel Gibson?

    (just jokin with ya)
"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

On the money. Trad Churches can't say there are jurisdictional issues then go about condemning things. Call a Conclave if you wanna play jurisdiction. Otherwise I strongly think Trad organizations need to stick "to the basics" or they run a lot of risks.

As a side note this is a lot of why I stay away from a lot of sites and don't get involved in the "Trad Community" online - They play politics too much. A lot of people attacking RnRs that have doubts, inviting drama by just talking about the Chair being empty on random posts, openly supporting the Republican party, playing up dumb stuff like the una cuм issue, talking about the rift between the Kelleyites and Thuc liners etc. I don't want drama, I want Catechesis, I want spiritual advice etc. There's nothing that really differentiates the RnR grifters from a lot of this garbage even though the former is called out.
Regard all of my posts as unfounded slander, heresy, theologically specious etc
I accept Church teaching on Implicit Baptism of Desire.
    Francis is Pope.
    NO is a good Mass.
    Not an ironic sig.

Yes, just from a dumb meme
"Be not therefore solicitous for tomorrow; for the morrow will be solicitous for itself. Sufficient for the day is the evil thereof." [Matt. 6:34]

"In all thy works remember thy last end, and thou shalt never sin." [Ecclus. 7:40]

"A holy man continueth in wisdom as the sun: but a fool is changed as the moon." [Ecclus. 27:12]

Yeah, pretty much. Ladislaus' term "sede-doubtism" encompasses all of us. Nothing has been defined by the Church, it's just all theological opinion.

I hold to sedeprivationism. Does that mean I am the harbinger of absolute truth on the matter? No, it is my theological opinion until something is defined in the future. That's why I'm now personally avoiding the ongoing cycle of arguments here and elsewhere on the matter.

Edit: This arguing does nothing at all to strengthen my Catholic faith.

Increasingly I lean Privationist too, it is certainly the "safest" opinion. I think in the future the locus of unity in Tradition will be Privation, and to be honest that's a great direction. Hopefully more Sedes and RnR will come around to this and dumb drama will evaporate. This is the time to rebuild and get things rolling, the world is getting taken over by a Communist revolution and this is the worst time for people who all agree on 90+% of the issues to be fighting instead of being a unified front.
