    • They are being encouraged to put "Athanasian Dollars" in the collection basket rather than greenbacks.

    Athanasian cash


    I wonder if there is some way to use this concept to encourage the SSPX to not cave to Rome?

    How about printing up some bills with a pic of Pope Francis and the beachball in the center? Or maybe the one with the clown nose?

    • The above "protest" is infantile. They should convert to traditional Catholicism and go to a real mass with a real priest. They should also lead good Catholic lives of penance and reparation.

    • here's an interesting true story

    many times in the past, b4 I knew what i know now about the NO masses, I would sit there during the collection with money and strangely, the usher would not get to me. I mean it was uncanny how often this happened. I was not always sitting in some oddball place in the Church either. It was like God was telling me not to give any money?

    or am I just loony to say that?
