"This concern for the peripheries is the reason behind the rumor of papal trip to Erbil, Iraq: to meet Christian refugees. However, other sources acknowledge the possibility of a papal docuмentthat would increase the limit of Cardinals voting in a conclave (i.e., Cardinals under the age of 80) from 120 to 140, thus increasing by 20 the limit that Paul VI established."

Vatican II managed to screw itself over in more ways than possible. Any and all change, in a perfect world, should've ended with the 1962 Missal.

Vatican III would be horrifying.

I don't know. A Vatican III might be a good thing. Maybe the fence-sitters could finally see the difference between the wheat and the chaff.
