No, I said they aren’t licit (and in many cases immoral) because they violate Quo Primum.

No, that’s a bad analogy.  It’s similar to a murder.  We (laity) can make the determination that someone died.  But we cannot make any decision (or if we do, it carries no legal significance) of who did the killing nor why.  That’s up to the proper authorities (ie Church) to bring Justice.

I am not speaking about the canonical or legal implications.  I am speaking about the "sin" of heresy.  We can judge "sin".  The catechism teaches us that we cannot make rash judgments, but if the evidence is sufficient, we can judge.

The conciliar popes have said that they are licit.  You are contradicting them.

+Benedict said in his 2007 motu that Quo Primum was still legally in force.  He never said the new mass was legal; it was only implied.  But by explicitly declaring QP to be in force, which disallows any alternative rite, then he has explicitly declared the new mass to be illicit.

Just because the V2 popes pass a law doesn’t mean it’s licit.  Plenty of states pass anti-gun laws that are later declared unconstitutional.

That tells us something.  Father Feeney was right.
I don't see how things will improve until more people accept this. Just look at the sspx. Slowly being absorbed into the 'Church'. The resistance priests also seem to have this issue on 'invincible ignorance'.
