    FYI for any local/nearby folk. Neither date is a Thursday, so no risk of "luminous" mysteries.

    Back when Roe v. Wade was overturned, there was a large group of Latin-reciting young men guarding the Old St. Pat's downtown from protesters. I hope that contingent of good guys will show up again now.

    • Why would a Traditional Catholic join in to make reparation in a church that is regularly defined by a Protestant Liturgy (with a тαℓмυdic table blessing replacing the Offertory) on an ongoing basis?

    Firstly, because even though it's been defiled, it is a consecrated church where Our Lord resided for 100 years and for that alone we need to make reparation.

    Secondly, it is part of the VISIBLE CATHOLIC CHURCH which is being attacked and if the visible church is defeated it will be hell for tradition.

    Thirdly, it's a good opportunity to let the NO see traditional Catholics. (and maybe enter into a conversation)

    Fourthly, because it's the right thing to do on both religious and political grounds.

    I'm thankful, albeit it surprised, that they know enough to make reparation.

    It's not IN the church, it's on the sidewalk. The reparation is not merely for the tangible church on 5th Avenue opposite Rockefeller Center. The reparation is for offenses against Our Lord, Our Lady, and the Saints. And I don't think that the lukewarm will be the ones to show up. There certainly are true believers in the area (not as many as in Ohio, of course) and a critical mass (no pun intended) is all that's needed. And every tourist who walks by on Saturday, and every office worker who walks by on Monday, will wonder what's going on. Never miss a chance at catechesis even if the first step is not a perfect one. I'm trying to figure out if I should make the several-hours' drive into town. Weather's supposed to be OK, no snowstorms on the interstate. Why not.

    • The problem is with the “Cardinal and the man posing as pope.  They are the reasons for the sin of sodomy.  If it quacks like a duck.   That’s the problem.

    The reparation should be done in the church where the offense was committed.  The sodomites were allowed in the church but you aren’t???
    I wonder what the cost for the sodomite funeral?  


      They should have called the police.  I’m sure the police will be there to round up those praying the rosary.  Years ago, the police were called on us as we mostly women, children and the elderly were peacefully praying the rosary as the den of thieves removed Jesus from the tabernacles and sold off holy property. They refused to call the police on their fellow sodomites who raped children.

    It is terribly unfortunate that the organizers labeled this a rally of  "Protest & Reparation".  The church is NOT the place for any protest.   It was the queers protesting in the first place that caused this disaster.  The church is a house of prayer, dedicated to God.  If you want to protest a human... go to his house or place of business.

    No. It’s says ROSARY.  ROSARY is done in church.  Rosary is the weapon to be prayed to protest and make reparations inside the Church.  The Holy Rosary and stations of the cross can be prayed inside the church.
