Robert Rawhide sent out a slanderous e-mail recently. To begin with, here is the e-mail I sent to him on Nov. 17 after he was banned:

You called CathInfo "The National Enquirer" -- even though you yourself frequent the forum! Talk about condemning oneself.

If you despise the forum that much, you have no need to be there.

"and no particular posting to point to"

That is an outright lie. There was a particular post, the one about CathInfo being The National Enquirer, which I moderated.

You name me ONE -- just ONE forum where you can sign up, post something like this, and NOT get banned quickly:

"Hello everyone. I think this forum is for gossips and old women. In fact, I think you're all going to Hell. I think anyone who posts here is impotent, stupid, insane, or all of the above."

I'm not saying you posted exactly that, but it was close. You just can't insult the forum and everyone on it, and expect to be warmly welcomed there! That doesn't have to be a written rule -- it's common sense! I've said this before, to other "personalities" of yours.

Note that I never claimed that Rawhide said,

"Hello everyone. I think this forum is for gossips and old women. In fact, I think you're all going to Hell. I think anyone who posts here is impotent, stupid, insane, or all of the above."

But rather something LIKE that. In other words, an insult. As is my wont, I used an example.

What DID he say? He called CathInfo "The National Enquirer", which is a good-for-nothing gossip rag. No good has, or ever will, come from such a magazine. Anyone who participates in its production is wasting their time at best, or committing a sin at worst.

In fact, here is exactly what he said. Don't you think my example was along the same lines as what he said? Do you think I maliciously misrepresented what he said? If so, PLEASE send me a PM.

Cathinfo is the Catholic version of the National Enquirer. It is a
common fact people love fantasy & gossip. It doesn't matter how

I didn't have any other personalities there. I had ONE active
account. And, I was not Fr. C. It is a lie. And, Droleskey, and other

Nevertheless, two things must be kept in mind.

So at best I was rash. But rash judgment? Is Fr. Cekada that bad of an insult? You're considering "Fr. Cekada!" to be an uncharitable slur, like "Raca!" or "Thou fool!"? So I called you an ordained minister of God, with a decent intellect and education. You should take it as a compliment.

He went back on his word. That is an insult to himself and his own forum.

I did nothing of the kind. I re-instated you once. That was your warning. I also stated publicly that during this SGG "war" I have to be more careful than usual. Apparent defenders of SGG will be treated as one "team" -- which means one warning for the whole team.

Just wanted to give my humble opinion:......let it go.....

This idiot is only going to get his jollies if he is given any attention. I read the email.... scratched my head... and went on with life. It's really that simple.

The more I say, the more my words will be twisted.

It's like starting a conversation with the devil out of curiosity (during an exorcism, etc.) -- something spiritual authors strongly warn against.

Definitely! It's like that sophomoric laypope website. It's only effective if normal people give it creedence.
