  • In the United States, yes. You're forgetting Bishop Madrigal in Mexico, however.

    Quote from: Elizabeth
The fact that the author believes he is one of two valid bishops is fascinating.  At least he comes right out and says so in public, unlike some of his more "meek as a dove"  fellow traddy bishops.

I find myself sympathetic with much that he has to say, then jarred by what Dawn has mentioned, the lack of Franciscan charity.

I was particularly put off by the description of a priest who had endured such severe torture in China that he obeys everyone. How is this poor priest considered anything less than a huge, undeserved blessing by his brothers?  How is it that traddy priests throughout the US have not been fighting over who gets to help this martyred Catholic priest?

I recommend reading these issues of The Seraph because they offer insight into the history of the US traddy Movement, and its infiltration by the John Birch Society.

  • Please do not forget that I made this thread to let everyone know the true story of Rev. Emile Miller of Christ the King Chapel, Lafayette LA. That is the intended purpose... so everyone can know who "Fr. Francis" really is. Thank you.

  • I don't mind discussing what's been brought up, just on a different thread.

If there is anyone sincerely interested in the truth, read the franciscanfathers.comand friarsminor.org sites... you will find out more about the real situation we are faced with in the Church today.

What real situation -- do you mean like the imagined situation they claim (and you promote) that they are the only Catholic clergy in the whole USA?

  • This thread was never railroaded. I do not think obediens would mind gossiping about any Traditional priest or bishop any one can come up with. Of course nobody in their group as they are the most mentally balanced and truest or as they say the ONLY Catholics in the world.

  • You are good at this. Well, if my fellow Cathinfos can not see the hateful and vicious tone used in those articles I am sad.
They are full of mocking venom.

The man was Fr. Ralph Siebert, whom Musey later "consecrated." How could a man who could not mentally function properly be validly consecrated? From what I hear he could hardly make much, much less important decisions by himself.

He lived out the rest of his days at Mt. St. Michael's... he may be buried there.

You are right.  I had forgotten all about that.  No wonder why his name sounded so familiar to me.

Obediens, I  thank you for posting these links.  They have proved invaluable to me in ways you could not imagine.

  • I don't have a website, I do have a small, modest blog. But it's not the one discussed in that thread.
