He claimed to be under Oliver Oravec, a questionable priest and invalid bishop,[/b]
Why is Bishop Oravec a questionable priest and invalid bishop?
-
Obediens, any idea who is being referred to here:
Without any permission or excardination process, Miller worked for a short time under Bishop George Musey (who along with Bishop Carmona had disassociated himself a few years before from Bishop Louis, by "consecrating" heretical and mentally-incompetent men to the episcopacy)
-
Altenbach - Feeneyite
Siebert - Mentally Incompetent
-
Thank you.
-
Oravec's ordination as a priest is questionable because of who ordained him, also there is no proof.
He is an invalid bishop due to McKenna's own problems... this has been described many times in The Seraph which is available online, on the Friars sites: www.friarsminor.org and www.franciscanfathers.com

I have to pay to read this magazine? We do not have the money for such things.
If you have vital information for people, I shouldn't have to pay to find it out.
-
Thanks again! I'll go read them.
-
Also many who can not afford it receive are subscribers to The Seraph, the contributions of generous benefactors allow the Friars to mail it free to those who need it.
-
Obediens, I am downloading these magazines. Some interesting stuff in them. Thanks again!
-
Obediens
Is it possible to get these back issues in the mail?
-
www.friarsminor.org and www.franciscanfathers.com
 Warning!
-
If they are recent issues, I believe so, but they would probably want donations for postage.

I would not give them a cent.

Also, he refuses to submit to Bishop Giles Butler, OFM as his Ordinary.
Who appointed Butler as the Ordinary? And who appointed the one who appointed Butler?
Ordinary of where? - What territorial jursidiction does Butler claim?
-
All of these questions have already been answered numerous times in The Seraph, available online.

Well if they have been answered numerous times do you know the answers?
If so, can you post them?
-
They're your questions, if you really want the truth, look for the answers yourself.
-
The truth about the legitimacy of claims that those people are Ordinaries with jurisdiction over Catholics in certain territories will not be found where you want us to look.

Thanks, Obediens. I have read three of the issues so far.

The critiques of a certain cleric in The Seraph are very interesting because they offer us a glimpse of the mindset of our dysfunctional traddy chapels and the men who run them. ( Although the author makes a very good point about the priests hired by the rich benefactors to offer Mass :laugh2:)
The fact that the author believes he is one of two valid bishops is fascinating. At least he comes right out and says so in public, unlike some of his more "meek as a dove" fellow traddy bishops.
I find myself sympathetic with much that he has to say, then jarred by what Dawn has mentioned, the lack of Franciscan charity.
I was particularly put off by the description of a priest who had endured such severe torture in China that he obeys everyone. How is this poor priest considered anything less than a huge, undeserved blessing by his brothers? How is it that traddy priests throughout the US have not been fighting over who gets to help this martyred Catholic priest?
I recommend reading these issues of The Seraph because they offer insight into the history of the US traddy Movement, and its infiltration by the John Birch Society.
-
Obediens, there is a letter in one of the issues of The Seraph that Bishop McKenna wrote in 1982. Would it be all right if I copied it and put it on here? It is very interesting what Bishop McKenna had to say in it.

I just finished reading about this. I don't know if he is still alive. You would have to contact Maryknoll to get the truth here, and I doubt that they would correspond with you. They tend to be leery of people that they do not know. Apparently, they have been burned many times. In any event, I notice a Toledo, Ohio connection which was (maybe still is) a hotbed of satanic activity - like Chicago.

Ah! So did I last night, but it was late-which number is that in, do you remember? Thanks! And of course the Cincinnati/Kentucky connection.

links?
edit: never mind

Am I the only one that can actually feel the evil coming from this site? It is tangible when I try to read any writings coming from Seraph. I will not look there anymore.

I guess so.

The man was Fr. Ralph Siebert, whom Musey later "consecrated." How could a man who could not mentally function properly be validly consecrated? From what I hear he could hardly make much, much less important decisions by himself.
He lived out the rest of his days at Mt. St. Michael's... he may be buried there.
-
Bishop Vezelis published it, but I do not speak for him or the Franciscans in the least bit. I've merely provided links. It is now in the public domain and has been read by hundreds of people... I don't see the problem with re-posting what McKenna wrote.

In the United States, yes. You're forgetting Bishop Madrigal in Mexico, however.

Please do not forget that I made this thread to let everyone know the true story of Rev. Emile Miller of Christ the King Chapel, Lafayette LA. That is the intended purpose... so everyone can know who "Fr. Francis" really is. Thank you.
-
Obediens, please forgive us for railroading your original point to this thread!
Let's get back on track!
-
I don't mind discussing what's been brought up, just on a different thread.
If there is anyone sincerely interested in the truth, read the franciscanfathers.comand friarsminor.org sites... you will find out more about the real situation we are faced with in the Church today.

What real situation -- do you mean like the imagined situation they claim (and you promote) that they are the only Catholic clergy in the whole USA?
-
This thread was never railroaded. I do not think obediens would mind gossiping about any Traditional priest or bishop any one can come up with. Of course nobody in their group as they are the most mentally balanced and truest or as they say the ONLY Catholics in the world.
-
Dawn, how have I been guilty of gossip? Thank you.
-
You are good at this. Well, if my fellow Cathinfos can not see the hateful and vicious tone used in those articles I am sad.
They are full of mocking venom.

You are right. I had forgotten all about that. No wonder why his name sounded so familiar to me.
Obediens, I thank you for posting these links. They have proved invaluable to me in ways you could not imagine.

I don't have a website, I do have a small, modest blog. But it's not the one discussed in that thread.
