Title: Retreats?
Post by: Marlelar on August 26, 2017, 05:49:00 PM
Does anyone know if there are any traditional retreats for women that are non-SSPX and non-Ignatian?

I do not know of any.

There are fewer and fewer. I found out a Catholic retreat center in Dalton, PA was sold to an Eastern Orthodox group because of funding problems. Our heritage is being sold, piecemeal.

I have been in retreat since '69, I think it's time for arming ourselves and advancing. Onward, Christian soldiers!

You should contact Bishop Zendejas, as his retreat center offers what you have in mind. I know he has some coming up in October, but you would have to contact him for the details.

It may be that a Dominican or two will help out again, and if so it shall be a good experiance. And if +Z is there, you will know why he's called a "Retreat Master" (unless he could possibly lose those qualities in a short time). Even one who had been to many retreats over the course of his life said it was one of the best he's ever been to.
