  • Does anyone know if there are any traditional retreats for women that are non-SSPX and non-Ignatian?

  • I do not know of any.

There are fewer and fewer. I found out a Catholic retreat center in Dalton, PA was sold to an Eastern Orthodox group because of funding problems. Our heritage is being sold, piecemeal.

I have been in retreat since '69, I think it's time for arming ourselves and advancing. Onward, Christian soldiers!

  • You should contact Bishop Zendejas, as his retreat center offers what you have in mind. I know he has some coming up in October, but you would have to contact him for the details.

It may be that a Dominican or two will help out again, and if so it shall be a good experiance. And if +Z is there, you will know why he's called a "Retreat Master" (unless he could possibly lose those qualities in a short time). Even one who had been to many retreats over the course of his life said it was one of the best he's ever been to.
Many people say "For the Honor and Glory of God!" but, what they should say is "For the Love, Glory and Honor of God". - Fr. Paul of Moll
