  • Out of respect for Dulcamara's wishes regarding the thread about BXVI's recent "good actions", I started a separate thread.

READ Pascendi dominici gregis, by St. Pius X.  Much of what the Modernists say is Catholic, even the model of orthodoxy.  Even so, the same men utter the most unorthodox statements (often within the same docuмents).  It is the m.o. - deal with it.

You want to "rejoice" at some nice words, whilst he is a great champion of the tree huggers who would murder half of the planet, and has recently celebrated the ABOMINATION of Assisi (1986).  Daydream all you want - it shall not alter REALITY.

  • But the Pope is still the pope. Even though he always does a lot of scandalous things, we may still find some good about him. I think that's what Dulcamara is trying to imply.

It's not about day dreaming. Or not facing reality. It's about finding good on His Holiness (and I'm sure he has). This said, we must never stop condemning his evil ways.

By the way, not that I would expect you to agree with it GV, but Bp. Williamson recently used Pascendi to show how the sedevacantists are in error.

I have seen Bp. Williamson make some very accurate statements.  However, he is exceptionally prone to double-think.  For all his accuracies, his statements, as a whole, are quasi-schizophrenic.

Now that is what I call fraternal charity.

Btw, it would be hard to get a photo of such, as I am presently still in via.  God speed.

Whereas you, on the other hand, are the very model of logic, Faith, and reason.  We cannot believe a traditional Roman Catholic bishop, but we CAN believe an anonymous poster who criticises him.

    Now, I get it.

Many here know my name, personal facts, etc.  There is nothing anonymous.  As for his comments, they are objectively illogical.
