John Thattunkal, aged 58, the Newchurcb bishop of Cochin, India, has "adopted" a 26-year-old woman and thereby set off yet another scandal in Newchurch. Six of his own vicars has called the Newbishop a lawbreaker and have demanded action against him. He claims that he has been bewitched by her "spiritual powers." She isn't even a Newchurcher, but a Eastern Orthodox schismatic.
The woman lives, at Newchurch expense, with the Newbishop in his house and travels with him. He has announced to his presbyters that the woman will give birth to a "divine child," who will reform the world. Benedict-Ratzinger has failed to disown him.
