Has anyone from the forum attempted to contact her and if so what sort of response she get. Can someone be able to tell her to respond to the forum as to why she did what she did?

It would be much easier for her to respond in a public forum... I mean these are grave grave accusations, God forbid to someone that is actually a servant of God... This is one of those times where you realize you went way above your pay grade, everyone makes mistakes sometimes even very serious ones. The hope is that you attempt to repair the damage, especially to a prince of the Church.

I have listened to a lot of her talks etc... She is indeed very good, but we are Catholic and if we make a mistake we are bound to make reparation for it. Its called honest journalism, we are human and we are capable of misinterpreting information etc... I think the important part is what she will do to repair the damage.

The reference to the Nord und Sud article was contained in Charlotte Wolff's 1986 biography of Magnus Hirschfeld. Wolff admitted that she did not know if the charge was "more fiction than fact," but she believed that so important a journal would not have published so libelous a story without some foundation for the charge against del Val.31 If the story was true, then there would appear to have been a darker side to del Val's interest in the boys of the Trastevere.

It's a secondary source (and Wolff herself is not convinced of the truthfullness  of the published charge she repeats in her book.)

Engel then says, "If it were true ..."

It would be comparatively easy for us to be holy if only we could always see the character of our neighbours either in soft shade or with the kindly deceits of moonlight upon them. Of course, we are not to grow blind to evil

That was my point. It shouldn't have been mentioned.
