False teachers who worship and fast for a false god.

Think about those who converted to Catholicism.   Many converts died for their Christian faith.  

I saw this article yesterday. Why not observe a traditional lent instead of fasting in union with pagan moon worshipers?

First of all, no, this guy isn't either Catholic or a priest. Secondly, he'd be better off eating meat at every meal, every day in Lent like his co-religionists, rather than observing a pagan fast.

  That reminds me of what my father used to say when someone would refer to Wojtyla as "Holy Father":  "He is neither Holy nor a Father." (said with a thick Hungarian accent and a scowl on his face)

... although, in Wojtyla's case, he was a valid priest and bishop.  But it was funny anyway, and applies perfectly to Bergoglio.  Ratzinger was at least a priest.  I think he meant in the sense of a "father who takes care of his children".
