  • Look at this list of "holy days and holidays" taken from the TAN Books "2009 Saints Calendar and Daily Planner".

First, it's funny that Martin Luther King day is on there. He wasn't even a man of AVERAGE holiness. There is dirt on him that isn't commonly known. But he's certainly not a "hero" and even more certainly not a saint.

Look at how things are being watered down -- Ascension Thursday is usually celebrated on Sunday (can't drag people into Church during the week, can we?) and now they're ditching the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary?

  • Well, TAN is at it again - nothing but good comes out of there!

The Novus religion AND its leaders are a JOKE, people!

  • Some days are not Holy Days of Obligation in the UK but are in the US. I don't think the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day here, for example. It depends on the country.

I believe that the Immaculate Conception is a Holy Day in Scotland but not in England & Wales.

  • What are the Holy Days of Obligation in the UK?
    Have they changed since VII?

For the Americans... did any of the Holy Days here change between VII and the recent changes? I think it was sometime in the 90s when they said any Saturday or Monday Holy Day would be celebrated on Sunday.
