According to one of the Prophecies I've read and assuming it is correct the next possible time for the Great Monarch to arrive to save us would be around the 2030's. I'd have to run to my car to grab that book to get the exact date and quotes though cuz I have it in there.

    waiting

I understand that the prophecy has something to do with the Angelic Shepherd and the Great Monarch crossing the ocean when the following feast dates occur at the same time on both the Roman and Orthodox calendars.  The happens again in the year 2038.

"When the Feast of St. Mark (April 25) shall fall on Easter, the Feast of St. Anthony (June 13) on Pentecost, and that of St. John (June 24th) on Corpus Christi, the whole world shall cry, Woe!"

We must remember though that all these prophecies are conditional.  Personally judging by the state of the world today I believe that 2038 is way too late for the minor chastisement.  A lot of people are of the opinion that Blessed Karl l's great grandson Archduke Ferdinand Zvonimir von Habsburg-Lothringen of Austria born in 1997 is the Great Monarch.  He fits all the conditions that have been prophecied about him.  I guess only time will tell though.
My conscience compels me to make this disclaimer lest God judges me partly culpable for the errors and heresy promoted on this forum... For the record I support neither Sedevacantism or the SSPX.  I do not define myself as either a traditionalist or Novus

  • Will someone please copy and paste the prophecy in question?  Some of them are by people like Nostradamus.  The Great Monarch is definitely coming, and the devil knows it, and for hundreds of years -- I believe -- he has been scattering a false breadcrumb trail.

I have heard of the idea that the Monarch will come around 2030.  But people are saying here that that is when the prophecy says the Chastisement will happen... Well, it's possible, the Monarch could rise up within a year or less of the Chastisement.  In fact, I'm nearly positive he will, because that is when people will finally be receptive to the truth.

It does seem far-fetched that it will take that long for the Chastisement to happen, but it's not impossible.  I predicted 2017, for no good reason, just because my birthday is on the 17th probably, lol.  But I have seen so many people saying "The End is Nigh NOW... No, NOW... No, wait a second, this time it's really it, NOW..." And so on.  Without slapping a date on it, I can see that God in His mercy is allowing the waiting disaster to unfurl at a glacial pace, to give people time to repent and prepare their souls.  It's like people are being slowly weaned from their luxurious lives, brought to their knees, in hopes that they'll beg for pardon.  Which isn't happening, in most cases, but they are getting their chance.

Almost everyone at this point knows the current ʝʊdɛօ-Masonic global system ( even if they don't know that that's what it is ) is toast.
What is shocking and dispiriting though is to see how almost no one understands the spiritual crisis, that this is happening because of rebellion and sin and the disorder they breed in society.  People treat it like it's all about bad money management, like if there were no Fed we coul happily go back to our abortions and Big Macs, to a time when everything was swell and all-American...
Readers: Please IGNORE all my postings here. I was a recent convert and fell into errors, even heresy for which hopefully my ignorance excuses. These include rejecting the "rhythm method," rejecting the idea of "implicit faith," and being brieflfy quasi-Jansenist. I also posted occasions of sins and links to occasions of sin, not understanding the concept much at the time, so do not follow my links.

  • Werdin d'Otrante(13th century): "The Great Monarch and the Great Pope will precede antichrist."

"The Nation will be in wars for four years and a great part of the world will be destroyed. All the sects will vanish. The Capital of the world will fall. The Pope will go over the sea carrying the sign of redemption on his forehead, and after the victory of the Pope and the Great Monarch peace will reign on earth."

"The Pope will cross the sea in a year when the Feast of Saint George(April 23rd) falls on a Good Friday, and Saint Mark's feast (April 25th) falls on Easter Sunday, etc." (See Chapter 1, "Questionable Prophecies"; the next year for such a concurrance of feasts is 2038).

"The Great Monarch will come to restore peace and the Pope will share in the victory."

    Abbot Werdin D’Otrante 13th Century

    Feastday not known

    Born not known

    Died 13th Century

There is not much we know of his life other than his prophecies.

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

“The great Monarch and the great Pope will precede Antichrist. The nations will be at war for four years and a great part of the world will be destroyed. All sects will vanish.  The capital of the world will fall. The Pope will go over the sea carrying the sign of Redemption on his forehead, and after the victory of the Pope and the Great Monarch peace will reign on earth…” 1

“The Pope will cross the sea in a year when the Feast of St. George (April 23rd) falls on Good Friday, and St. Mark's feast (April 25th) falls on Easter Sunday, and the feast of St. Anthony (June 13th) falls on Pentecost and the feast of St. John the Baptist (June 24th) falls on Corpus Christi…”  (The last time these feasts coincide in this way was in 1943 and the next time, presumably to which the prophet alludes, will be 2038) 2

“The Great Monarch will come to restore peace and the Pope will share in the victor…” 3

  • Apparently, Marie-Julie de Jahenny has said that the Monarch will be called Henri de la Croix. Anna Catharina Emmerich seems also to have had a vision of the Emperor Henricus. I do not know how accurate these testimonies are, but they are interesting nevertheless.

It seems to me that the Monarch will be revealed to the world as a merciful answer from Our Lord when people start crying out to Him in their calamity. As of now, people are still addicted to their sins, but when chastisements strike the earth, people always, as if by impulse, turn back to God Whom they have forsaken. I think that it is on that pivotal moment of collective repentance, that God will reveal the heir to the throne of France who, as Holy Roman Emperor, will help restore catholic order on a universal scale.

All we can do now is keep resisting the usurious monster which has entangled the governments and states with it's ugly tentacles, and offer up our prayers and sacrifices to draw nearer, with the grace of God, the inevitable Restoration.

  • Here are some authentic prophecies regarding the Great Monarch and Holy Pope.  I took them from Desmond Birch's "Trial, Tribulation and Triumph".  Mr. Birch is reliable because he only used fully approved sources which can't be said of others.  These are only a few but there are many more.  I post more later when I have more time.

Saint Cataldus of Tarentino (c. 680): "The Great Monarch will be in war till he is forty
years of age; a king of the House of Lily, he will assemble great armies and expel
tyrants from his empire. He will conquer England and other island empires.
Greece he will invade and be made a king thereof. Clochis, Cyprus, the Turks and
barbarians he will subdue and have all men to worship the Crucified One. He will at
length lay down his crown in Jerusalem."

Saint Caesar of Arles (469-543): "When the entire world, and in a special manner
France, and in France more particularly the provinces of the North, of the East, and
above all that of Lorraine and Champagne, shall have been a prey to the greatest
miseries and trials, then the provinces shall be succored by a prince who had been
exiled in his youth, and who shall recover the crown of the lilies.
"This prince shall extend his dominion over the entire universe. At the same time
there will be a Great Pope, who will be most eminent in sanctity and most perfect in
every quality. This Pope shall have with him the Great Monarch, a most virtuous man,
who shall be a scion of the holy race of the French kings.
“This Great Monarch will assist the Pope in the reformation of the whole earth.
Many princes and nations that are living in error and impiety shall be converted, and
an admirable peace shall reign among men during many years because the wrath of
God shall be appeased through repentance, penance and good works.
“There will be one common law, one only faith, one baptism, one religion. All nations
shall recognize the Holy See of Rome, and shall pay homage to the Pope. But after
some considerable time fervor shall cool, iniquity shall abound, and moral corruption
shall become worse than ever, which shall bring upon mankind the last and worst
persecution of Antichrist and the end of the world."

Saint Hippolytus (died 235): "The Great French Monarch who shall subject all the
East shall come around the end of the world."

Blessed Ruhunns Maurus (died 856): "Our principal doctors agree in announcing to
us that toward the end of time one of the descendants of the kings of France shall
reign over all the Roman empire, and that he shall be the greatest of the French
monarchs, and the last of his race.
"After having most happily governed his kingdom, he will go to Jerusalem, and
depose on Mount Olivet his scepter and crown. This shall be the end and conclusion
of the Roman and Christian Empire."

Monk Adso (died 992): "Some of our teachers say that a King of the Franks will
possess the entire Roman Empire. This King will be the greatest and last of all
monarchs, and after having prosperously governed his kingdom he will come in the
end to Jerusalem and he will lay down his scepter and his crown upon the Mount of
Olives. This will he the end and consummation of the Empire of Rome, and
    immediately afterwards Antichrist will come."

Venerable Bartholomew Holzhauser (died 1658): "The fifth period of the Church, which began circa 1520, will end with the arrival of the Holy Pope and of the powerful Monarch who is called "Help from God" because he will restore everything in Christ.'

St. Francis of Paula (15th Century): "From your lordship, (here he is speaking of a future descendant), shall be born the great leader of the holy militia of the Holy Spirit, which shall overcome the world, and shall possess the earth so completely that no king or lord shall be able to exist, except he belongs to the Sacred Host of the Holy Spirit. These devout men shall wear on their breasts, and much more within their hearts, the sign of the living God, namely, the cross.  He shall destroy all tyrants and heresies.  There will be one fold and one shepherd.  He shall reign until the end of time.  On the whole earth there will be twelve Kings, one Emperor and one Pope."

IMO, he will not be known until very late in the piece...and is unlikely to know his own role until shortly before it is forced upon him...

Perhaps. I suppose we can only speculate regarding these matters.
