  • Would Padre Pio have kissed the ring of Archbishop Lefevbre if he wasn't a real bishop?

    DUH. No. Obviously not.

Most of you have seen this, but it adds further relevancy to those that still maintain (stupidly like Hobgoblin twit) that "Leinhart was a mason and couldn't have validly made Lefevbre a priest and therefore can't be a bishop."

    Matthew 5:37

But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.

My Avatar is Fr. Hector Bolduc. He was a faithful parish priest in De Pere, WI,

  • This nonsense about "LeFebvre wasn't ordained or consecrated right so he wasn't a real Bishop" is used by dogmatic sedevacantists (sometimes modernists, but not usually). It's a false argument. Thanks for posting this, PFT.

That's an erroneous conclusion that is based on a misunderstanding of Sacramental theology that borders on Donatism.

In my experience, it is the home-aloners who have advocated this erroneous stance, as well as some hyper-uber-extreme sedevacantists.

Please ignore all that I have written regarding sedevacantism.

Yeah, that's what I meant by dogmatic sedevacantists who have started this crazy conclusion.

  • Wow. I never thought of this when I would see this picture. Padre Pio could see into the hearts and minds of people amongst other miracles.
