  • Abp. Lefebvre said in his consecration sermon:
    Quote from: June 30, 1988
you will find among these fliers which are put at your disposal, an admirable study done by Professor Georg May, President of the Seminary of Canon Law in the University of Mayence in Germany, who marvelously explains why we are in a case of necessity: necessity to come and help your souls, to help you!
Does anyone have a scanned copy of this study?
    thanks

  • I assume that Archbishop Lefebvre was speaking about Prelate Georg May's opuscula "Notwehr, Widerstand und Notstand, Begriffliche Klärungen", published in Wien, 1984, Mediatrix-Verlag. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of this study.
You might want to contact the Prelate himself, he will surely help you.

Yes, I do. You have a PM.

In case you need assistance because of the language barrier (and I am afraid the title might not be available in English), feel free to contact me again.

Surely it was at least partially translated into French, no?

Also, I heard that excerpts from it are in Angelus Press's Is Tradition Excommunicated?. Are they? I don't have that book. Perhaps there's an e-book version of it posted in the CathInfo Library here.
