  • In the wake of a certain Jorge Bergoglio trying to destroy the Catholic religion at every turn, Heaven has spoken and given us a sign for the times using natural means.  A statue of St. Peter, in Buenos Aires, has the Keys and Halo blown off by lightning.

In short, it looks like the pope of Buenos Aires has lost his keys.  No bueno.

  • And his papal crown/tiara/halo (not 100% sure what that was).

  • The building in the back must have dropped a few feet too. ::) Looks photoshopped.
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

  • From what I've gathered the lightning was confirmed, but the halo was gone prior to the lightning strike.

Probably just shot from two different angles.

At first I thought that, but afterwards I was inclined to believe it was photoshoped.

Right, independent individuals went down there and photographed the statue with the right hand and the key missing.  Evidently the halo was removed sometime late in 2018 ... and no one has yet discovered how or why.

  • What's interesting in the video above from Stine is that the debunkers came out in full force and were exposed for several lies ...

    1) incident didn't happen (proven false)
    2) there was no storm that night (proven false)

So they make things up out of whole-cloth because they have an agenda.

Not sure why go to all that trouble, just say, "ah, that was just a coincidence, and you can't read any message from God into it".

We should just stick with the theological evidence for Jorge being an Antipope.

  • When I lose my keys, I always pray to St. Anthony.  He’s never let me down!

I didn't watch the video, but I also had some of the same questions/doubts initially (and I didn't have an agenda).  All we had to go on was one source saying certain things and the same source alleging that a priest "confirmed" these things (but there was no evidence that that confirmation actually happened either). And two pictures that, quite frankly, looked suspicious.

As for your bolded, NOW puts it perfectly:

The most important point, though, is this: It really doesn’t matter. Anyone who, especially at this stage, is looking for a lightning bolt to tell him if the man who has promulgated heaps of blasphemy, impiety, scandal, heresy, error, and sacrilege in his official magisterium is in fact the Vicar of Christ who keeps the gates of hell from prevailing, has not understood what the Papacy is or how Catholicism works.
