Again, you are making things up.  You do not know if there was any law in Egypt (which, like Judah, was part of the Roman Empire) that made entering the country illegal, nor do you know that they entered the country in a way so as to be considered an illegal entry.

Stop spreading Democrat Party propaganda on the forum.

It is not Democratic party propaganda. The Gospel of Matthew tells us that Jesus Mary and Joseph fled to Egypt because King Herod wanted to kill the baby Jesus.
No.  The propaganda isn't that Jesus, Mary, and Joseph fled to Egypt.  The propaganda is that this made them "illegal immigrants" in Egypt and everything else you say about the issue.

What is your evidence that they illegally entered Egypt?
.
Certainly Our Lord, even as an infant, could have miraculously produced the necessary docuмents for them to be legal immigrants.
After all, St. Joseph would not have obeyed the command given to him in a dream if it were telling him to break the law!

"...behold an angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph, saying: Arise, and take the child and his mother, and fly into Egypt: and be there until I shall tell thee."
.
.
Poche's version: behold an angel of the Lord appeared in sleep to Joseph, saying: Arise, and take the child and his mother, and smuggle them into Egypt under cover of darkness, to hide as illegal aliens until I tell thee how to furthermore illegally escape the Egyptian immigration system.

That is not a statue of the Blessed Mother.

Maybe according to the demons in Hell it is, but it is not a statue of Her to Catholic sensibilities and faithful eyes. I'm sorry that on the Feast of the Holy Rosary, they denigrated Our Blessed Mother and our Faith with this Marxist pablum that's apparently "art".

Hopefully, it comes down, or even better, burns down.
.
Probably can't "burn down" because they're planning on making it out of metal.

PBS refers to this pile of junk as the "West Coast Statue of Liberty."

Maybe San Ysidro should hire a French sculptor instead, to design it.
.
But using the same search terms, here's another statue that emerges with this story line.
It was posted 5 days ago, so if it's a mistake, certainly someone would have fixed it by now.
Don't overlook the far superior attention to detail and finish employed for a statue of Baphomet:

Maybe poche is totally on board with this one as well!!
(I'm most confident he can dredge up some excuse.)

SAN DIEGO (AP) — A California church near the U.S.-Mexico border is planning to erect a hilltop welcome statue to send a message of hope to immigrants.
The Los Angeles Times reports Saturday that a 40-foot-tall (12-meter-tall) monument of Mary, mother of Jesus, that was inspired by the Statue of Liberty is planned for the parking lot of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in San Ysidro.
The statue will be named “Welcome the Stranger.” Supporters are trying to raise $1 million to build it by early next year.

Bishop Robert McElroy of the Roman Catholic Diocese of San Diego says the monument will serve as a reminder of immigrants’ contributions to the United States.
Artist Jim Bliesner says he drew inspiration for the design from community members.
