For Your Information: All Souls church has no altar and no altar rail!! And no, it is not a basilica!
I have heard the same thing on Fr. Pieroni
All Souls Sanford FL
I have heard that Fr. Pieroni was conditionally re-ordained.
St Thomas More Church, Sanford, Florida, SSPX Altar with relics in altar stone. Altar cloth in place on the altar rail.
Dear Jr1991,Perhaps it is time for the faithful and benefactors who have contributed money for the purchase and construction of the school and/or church to demand an accounting of each penny. If the Prior is the fiduciary for the projects, he must be held legally accountable for the lack of due diligence in finding out about the local restrictions and ordinances of the land BEFORE the purchase! The names on the deeds of the properties include Fr. Fullerton--is he the one who should have hired an architect, an attorney, and an accountant BEFORE raising the money from innocent people? Unless ordinances were added or changed after closing, all the encuмbrances on the real estate should have been made known to the buyer before the time of closing. If this were a secular business matter, attorneys would already be involved. Is it possible that the donors are being defrauded intentionally? Being a part of an international religious society makes transparency and accountability for other people's money even more imperative!SSPX faithful should protect themselves and find out what is really going on in Florida!
Hello Texana, I want to inform you that there were no changes in the zoning regulations after the deal was closed. The SSPX knew that the land they bought was not zoned for a church, but they proceeded with it anyway. This happened during the pandemic when the chapel in Miami was shut down without notifying the parishioners. Shortly after, they started looking for land and launched an extensive fundraising campaign. They collected a million dollars from the Novus Ordo refugees, who could not attend mass in their usual churches due to the Archdiocese's suspension. I cannot judge the SSPX's motives, but I know they left many parishioners without a place to worship.
