So what's wrong with Mrs. Martinez? Are her facts "not facts" - or her interpretation wrong? That aside, there is no denying that Pius XII passed the buck on the Consecration of Russia.
Our Lady appeared to Sister Lucy at Tuy, Spain, on June 13, 1929, to say that: “The moment has come when God asks the Holy Father to make, in union with all the bishops of the world, the consecration of Russia to My Immaculate Heart, promising to save it by this means.”
He was Sec. of State under Pius XI. He knew of Fatima and Our Lady's papal request from the outset, from 1929 on. Neither Pius did anything. He also allowed Fr. Feeney to be thrown under the bus (though reaching a rather feeble hand out to reassert that the EENS dogma has, by some, been wrongly made into a "meaningless formula").
Was World War II his fault? There would not have been a WWII if Russia had been consecrated. And that was up to the Pope - eventually, this Pope. How to explain this ... maybe Mrs. Martinez is right.
