Pope’s niece says her uncle will update "stagnate" and "outdated" Church

June 19: The Local 10 TV station in Miami broadcast a report about Christina Bergoglio, niece of Pope Francis.

Miss Bergoglio has gained attention by her new art exhibit in Miami at the Conrad hotel in Brickell.

The TV report noted the artistic merits of Miss Bergoglio’s work, and held a brief interview with her, in which she said she is not religious, but spiritual and she doesn't subscribe to any one religion.

She also sees her Uncle Jorge as the man who will further ‘update’ the Church.

"I'm not afraid to say I see the Church as outdated, and that's why I believe life has put my uncle to renew this certain system of thought that was getting stagnated," Miss Bergoglio said.

I think it is interesting and very telling that the Pope has had so much influence on his own niece to the point that she is not "religious".

The most you will ever get out of Jorge Bergoglio is gussied-up agnosticism in Novus ordo verbiage. Her (and probably everyone else he's related to) having no religion is probably the expected effect of that.

I was thinking...this is most likely the reason Francis says atheists can go to Heaven. Because he knows he has atheists in his family and he doesn't want to believe they are on there way to perdition. Because you know...giving them a proper Catholic upbringing would be old fashion or something like that...and this is the new springtime of religious liberty and all that!

This is nothing but an journey into the absurdity.

We got to stop posting novus ordo and mainstream news items,
because it is no longer relevant and should be ignored.
How absurd can you get, Bishop of Rome says her uncle
will update "stagnate" and "outdated" Church.
The question is "what is left to update" they steamed rolled
the church decades ago.
