People try to say they're brothers in faith, pray to the same God. But they reject Christ, had him crucified and its all clearly laid out in the Bible. They outright mock and hate our Lord but demand respect?
Tell me your understanding of the relationship of Judaism and Christianity isn't this simplistic.
We know that it does not avail one to accept the Father and reject the Son...but why this always goes directly to 'worshiping other Gods' is beyond me. The identity of the God of Abraham did not change at the incarnation, His revelation of Himself was completed. This requires a bit more nuance than 'they worship another God'.
Try 'they pray to the same God, but fruitlessly because they lack the Son' if you want...that at least maintains something of correct theology.
"No man can come to me, except the Father, who hath sent me, draw him; and I will raise him up in the last day. It is written in the prophets: And they shall all be taught of God. Every one that hath heard of the Father, and hath learned, cometh to me. Not that any man hath seen the Father; but he who is of God, he hath seen the Father. Amen, amen I say unto you: He that believeth in me, hath everlasting life." -John 6:44-46
Jesus saith to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No man cometh to the Father, but by me.
If you had known me, you would without doubt have known my Father also: and from henceforth you shall know him, and you have seen him.
John 14:6-
So someone is lying. Is a half-truth, truth?
Or are now going to define (a' la Clinton) "What is fullness of truth?"
No sir. The "practicing" Jєωs of today do not worship God.
