  • From another website:

The Jєωs have made the h0Ɩ0cαųst the basis of browbeating conciliar Church Popes into accepting Judaism as salvific in and of itself.   "The Jєωιѕн People and its Holy Scriptures in the Christian Bible" is a docuмent for which Cardinal Ratzinger wrote the preface thus giving the docuмent his imprimatur.  Section II, A, 5 of the docuмent says in part:

"... to read the bible as Judaism does necessarily involves an implicit acceptance of all its pre-assumptions, that is, the full acceptance of what Judaism is, in particular, the authority of its writings and rabbinic traditions, which exclude faith in Jesus as the Messiahs and son of God. ... ..Christians can and ought to admit that the Jєωιѕн reading of the bible is a possible one. .."

The cardinal's words are a denial of Our Lord's words "that no one comes to the Father but through me." (John 14:6) and "that to reject Him was to reject the One who sent Me.) (Luke 10:16)

        The docuмent also states:

"The Jєωιѕн messianic wait is not in vain."

    and adds:

"   that Jєωs and Christians share their wait for the messiah, although Jєωs are waiting for the first coming and Christians are waiting for the second coming."

Cardinal Ratzinger in a September 5, 2000 Zenit news story was quoted as saying:

"We are in agreement that a Jєω, and this is true for other religions, does not need to know or acknowledge Christ as the Son of God in order to be saved."

Cardinal Kasper, the Vatican point man for ecuмenical relations, in the same news story stated:

"The Jєωs believe in the true and one God."

The statements by both cardinals are a denial of the divinity of Christ.

Pope John Paul II visited a ѕуηαgσgυє in Rome and with the Jєωιѕн Rabbi participated in a joint prayer meeting at which the Hebrew choir chanted:

"I believe with perfect faith in the coming of the messiah, and even if he takes a long time in coming, I will wait until he comes."

    See the article at:

    www.traditioninaction.org/HotTopics/a028htJPII_VisitToѕуηαgσgυє1986.htm

In addition to such actions and teachings denying the divinity of Christ, they encourage the damnation of the eternal souls of the Jєωs since it is a thrice defined ex-cathedra dogma of the Catholic Faith that; "Outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation."  By visiting a ѕуηαgσgυє and praying there Pope John Paul II is implicitly disobeying the First commandment just as he did at Assisi in 1986 when he permitted Buddhists to  place a statue of their false god atop a tabernacle and pray before it.

  • Thanks for the link,Hristor.  The earthquake in Assisi was serious business, to put it mildly.

It called to mind the Apocalypse 'they have made war with the saints'.
