  • Stevus,
Your apology here has so far netted you 11 thumbs up, so I got a big kick out of this thought that you gave us on the other thread that you started:

quote by Stevusmagnus from "the other thread": "By the way, have you ever thought the Bishops and Priests of the Sede movement just might have a little self-interest in perpetuating the idea that we have no pope?"

Funny coincidence, isn't it? I just couldn't pass up pointing that out.  :roll-laugh2:

I am curious, though...  How exactly do you think that the sede clergy benefit from their theory of sedevacantism?

Dr. Thomas Droleskey, on his website www.christorchaos.com, says that when he took up the sede position, the bottom dropped out of his book sales and he's apparently been in debt ever since.

  • If you read that post in context of the thread you will see I'm trying to point out the irony in the fact that GV is implying I'm naive by not buying into almost all cօռspιʀαcιҽs, but yet he doesn't seem to apply this same skeptical conspiracy logic to sede-ism or its leaders. He seems very selective in the cօռspιʀαcιҽs he gives credence to.

  • You mean to tell me that you didn't even get a laugh out of the little coincidence that I pointed out?  :pop:

Have you ever considered that the priests and bishops of the Conciliar movement might just have a little self-interest in perpetuating the idea that Benedict IS the pope?

Arguments of this sort are just plain silly because they cut both ways.  We have to look at the objective truth.

That's like saying scientists have self-interest in saying the earth revolves around the sun.

Thank you thank you thank you for mentioning that thread. It totally escaped my view some how and I went back to search for it. It was spectacular, in that I think it will give people something to see visually, as well as something to go look up more on their own... even though all the facts were pretty well laid out in it.

To all who haven't seen the links, go check them out !
