  • Papal Inauguration: Panreligion in motion
Today, May 18, 2025, the Inauguration Mass of Pope Leo XIV took place at St. Peter's Square.

All kinds of schismatics, heretics, Jews, Muslims and an assortment of pagans were invited to attend, and were placed at the right side of the Altar, the highest place of honor, even before the Cardinals. We can see them in the photos of this page.

It is a symbolic presence that speaks loudly of the intent of Leo XIV to go ahead with the progressivist agenda of the Conciliar Popes of building a Panreligion, that is, a religion that would bring together all beliefs under a vague leadership of the Pope.

If any doubt about the intent of Pope Prevost to follow faithfully this agenda still remains, it should be resolved by his actual words in the speech he delivered to the Cardinals on May 10. Indeed, Leo XIV affirmed:

"In this regard, I would like us to renew together today our complete commitment to the path that the universal church has now followed for decades in the wake of the Second Vatican Council. Pope Francis masterfully and concretely set it forth in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii Gaudium, from which I would like to highlight several fundamental points: the return to the primacy of Christ in proclamation (cf. No. 11); the missionary conversion of the entire Christian community (cf. No. 9); growth in collegiality and synodality (cf. No. 33); attention to the sensus fidei (cf. Nos. 119-120), especially in its most authentic and inclusive forms, such as popular piety (cf. No. 123); loving care for the least and the rejected (cf. No. 53); courageous and trusting dialogue with the contemporary world in its various components and realities (cf. No. 84; SECOND VATICAN COUNCIL, Pastoral Constitution Gaudium et Spes, 1-2)."

  • Why would he do any different than all his Conciliar predecessors did, especially Wojtyla the Great?  He's already said that he's pushing ahead with the Conciliar religion as well as Bergoglio's "masterful" interpretation thereof.

I don't understand why people keep acting surprised by this.  He said all this on the very first day after his (s)election, as you quoted.  So if tomorro afternoon he brought in the old Pachamama, the only thing I'd wonder about is why he'd do it so soon.

I believe that his agenda is to just ignore the Bergoglian stuff for a while, just let it fester and take root, while playing to the Trads a bit, so that his first order of business will be to reabsorb SSPX.

They've done this repeatedly.  Introduce something.  There's an initial uproad.  After a while people just get used to it, and then desensitized to it.  Communion in the hand, altar girls, female lectors, various "ecuмenical" activities, Koran kissing, Jew-ass kissing, Buddhas on tabernacles, Amoris Laetitia, Fiducia Supplicans ... all cause a great deal of shock, consternation, and garmanet rending among the neo-SSPX as well as Trad, Inc.  But now you barely hear a peep out of anyone about these things.

He will get the complain and comply crowd back in the novus ordo sect and his sucessor will be the false prophet
Vatican 2 was worse than both WW1 and WW2 combined.
So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

Exactly.  The man says some things in Latin then all the 'trads' are over the moon?  Hello, McFly.  It's still Vatican II.  What the hell is wrong with people?

  • Vatican II was a Catholic Protestant reformation, when Rome became not much different to Protestantism. Only those of us who lived before it and after it really know the difference. Pope Leo XIV is just a continuation of that. When I hear the likes of Michael Matt and others wondering where their church is going to with a new pope, picking a few points of hope, I get bored with it all. Nothing will change until god takes over again as a friend wrote years ago.

'Vatican Council I is still on hold. It has not yet been consummated. The principles it reaffirmed are yet to be applied to particular errors. When we finally see the great healing Council, the great Flood Council, and the great Cadaver Synod as some call it, the great work of the Church that will sweep away, like a new Deluge, we will see the principles of Vatican I explicitly applied to the errors of the past.’--- Friend’s comment.

For me, now 83, I just keep the faith of my youth, go to the Tridentine Mass, say my rosary every night, dwell on our God and His creation, and the fact He can judge every one of the billions of souls that are born and die, just like the billions of stars He created in the universe. I was an altar-boy at 7 years old and served at everything from Mass, retreats and annual occasions. After Vatican Ii I saw churches ripped apart to make way for their new table Mass in any language. At that time after Vatican II we had no choice when every local church made the changeover. I remember when altar-girls took over from boys and the parish priest told me the Pope allowed that. I then went AWOL for years as probably millions of others did. Only when we found a Latin mass again did I and others return to practicing the faith again in every way.

My sister was cured of an ailment one weekend at Knock shrine in west Ireland. I studied that silent apparition and found it was related To La Salette. In the past Cromwell invaded Ireland, he tried to kill off the Latin Mass and replace it with his Protestant Mass. He told anyone who who opposed it to 'Go to Hell or Connaght' where Knock is. The Bishops of Ireland met and said no one was to accept that Protestant thing as a Mass. That is what happened.
