It might not be entirely correct to blame poche for all his foibles, which are legion.
16. Man may, in the observance of any religion whatever, find the way of eternal salvation, and arrive at eternal salvation.—Encyclical "Qui pluribus," Nov. 9, 1846.
Pope Francis prays in the house of the Jєωs and heretics
St Peter, our first pope, prayed in the Jєωιѕн temple
You're wrong, poche. Give it up.
St. Peter did not do what Pope Francis is doing. The closest St. Peter came to imitating the current Pope is when he denied Our Lord three times. But Pope Francis has done -- and is doing -- much worse, and shows no signs of repentance or stopping.
Pope Francis has thoroughly betrayed his office, and is stubbornly destroying the Church and the Faith.
We are certainly competent to describe what is passing before our very eyes. Deposing the pope is another matter -- that's a little more complicated.
To use an earthy Irish saying, "Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining."
Exactly, and I have wanted to add. Poche, Saint Peter worshipped in the temple before the councils decrying the evil perpetrated by the wicked Jєωs. Saint Peter, at that point, had no Christian churches
The preaching of St. Peter is well docuмented, fortunately. It's right there in black-and-white, that is, for those with eyes to see. And his words are heard down through the centuries for those with ears to hear.
"He that readeth let him understand" (
Matt. xxiv. 15).
But to get a clue of what's going on, you have to consider some of poche's other posts, such as the ones on "
the oldest person" thread. For in both cases (as well as most other posts by poche) the veracity of the Bible is ignored. What the Bible says is not considered to be true by poche and other Modernists like him.
In this way, what poche writes on CI (and perhaps everywhere else) is not pleasing to God because it is entirely empty of faith, and without faith it is impossible to please God. But then, you'd have to believe what Scripture says in order to believe that. (Cf. Heb. xi. 6)
St. Peter's preaching in the Temple was his exhortation to the Jєωs of his day to repent, be converted, and believe in the time of their visitation, God's revelation to man in the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity. If he did any "praying," it was his appeal and pleading with those Jєωs to believe and be baptized. For he who believes and is baptized will be saved, but he who believes not will be condemned (cf. Mk. xvi. 16). You won't see him making any excuses for the 'invincibly ignorant' or for any 'vague longing' or for those with 'implicit desire' for baptism.
So forget it.
I say you might not be able to blame poche, because he's not thinking of this nonsense on his own. He's reading corrupted materials from apostate sources that don't identify themselves as apostate but are all the more dangerous anyway as a result. He reads it and he believes it and he trots over here to CI spouting it because it's all he knows. It's all he has ever known, because he has grown up in the grand sewer of all heresies, the congeries of serpents, and that's all he knows.
It's kind of sad, really. It's a poverty of knowledge and a desolation of insight.
And it's this kind of mindset that is the preparation in the world for the coming of the Antichrist. And to prepare the world for the Antichrist, faith on earth must be extinguished.
"But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on earth?" (
St. Luke. xviii. 8).
