  • It's a small world here in Tradland. Has anyone heard Pope Francis and his video telling all his 'friends' in the whole Protestant world, that the 'Protest' is over and we are 'all' Catholic now? Well he and his long time Anglican bishop friend Tony Palmer announced the 'good news' during a preachers conference given by Kenneth Copeland.
Unfortunately I can't find any commentary online from the Traditional Catholic community, nor The Resistance. No one at my small SSPX chapel knew about it.
I know that we wouldn't have the authority to declare the Church in official Apostasy, but is this it? How much more clear does it need to get?

  • Please view the entire video if you have not seen. It is on YouTube and the title is 'Pope Francis sends video message to Kenneth Copleand, 'Lets Unite'. The video is 45 minutes and has many details on what some at the Vatican have been up to.

  • The minute I heard that he said, "There is no Catholic God," I knew that he's an apostate (if he ever even held the Faith). I don't need an official declaration to be able to see that black is black and white is white. If God isn't a Catholic, what's the point of following Holy Mother Church's rules? Indeed, what's the point of Her very existence? Just wait until 2017 rolls around and Francis the Phony "canonizes" Martin Luther.
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • That babbling in tongues stuff towards the end was priceless ... in a disturbing way.

Francis does seem to have genuine compassion towards the Protestants.  He just doesn't seem to believe that faith (as in objectively true faith) matters when it comes to unity, that unity can be a product of just good will.

I wrote that I wouldn't post on Faith of Desire anymore, but I can't help it ... as these are the fruits of Faith of Desire, wherein objectively true faith can be supplied for by the will, as if the intellect need not possess truth in order for a person to have true faith.  These are the deplorable fruits of Suprema Haec wherein all are Catholics who wish to conform their will to God, and grasping of the True Faith doesn't matter.  If you can't see that, then you are just blind.

  • "The Church" cannot be in apostasy, official or otherwise.  The Church is indefectible.

However, those who claim to occupy office within her (e.g., Bergoglio, Kasper, Dolan, et al.) have defected from her teachings.  They are not Catholics.
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • Satan pushes unity in apostasy, but division and separation from Truth - Christ and His Mystical Body.
Blessed be the Lord my God, who teacheth my hands to fight, and my fingers to war. ~ Psalms 143:1 (Douay-Rheims)

  • Wow, just wow. I watched the shorter video ~11min long with Francis' address to Kenneth Copeland for unity (watch to the end to see K. Copeland and his 'prayer and blessing for Francis   ).  I am truly speechless and more than a little freaked out.

This name probably (and mercifully) doesn't mean anything to people on Cathinfo but it does to me.  I grew up with his "Word of Faith" crap in an evangelical/charismatic family.  My families bookshelf probably has or had most of his books.  This guy is a complete fraud.  He preaches something called the 'prosperity gospel'.  In a nutshell it means if you pray and have 'faith in your faith' (seriously!?!) God will make you rich, happy, well, etc in this life, especially if you are willing to kick a few $$$  toward K. Copeland and pals ministry. Seriously, think of the worst stereotypes of American TV 'evangelist' and ya pretty much this guy.

Here are some quotes from Kenneth Copeland from a protestant site exposing him for the heretical fraud that he is:

That Adam was God manifest in the flesh.
“God’s reason for creating Adam was His desire to reproduce Himself. I mean a reproduction of Himself, and in the Garden of Eden He did just that. He was not a little like God. He was not almost like God. He was not subordinate to God even. ... Adam is as much like God as you could get, just the same as Jesus. ... Adam, in the Garden of Eden, was God manifested in the flesh.” (Following the Faith of Abraham I, 1989 audiotape, #01-3001, side 1)

God is the greatest failure in the Universe.
“I was shocked when I found out who the biggest failure in the Bible actually is. ... The biggest one is God. ... I mean, He lost His top-ranking, most anointed angel; the first man He ever created; the first woman He ever created; the whole earth and all the Fullness therein; a third of the angels, at least—that’s a big loss, man ... Now, the reason you don’t think of God as a failure is He never said He’s a failure. And you’re not a failure till you say you’re one.” (Praise-a-Thon program on TBN [April 1988] )

God lives on a mother planet
“Heaven has a north and a south and an east and a west. Consequently, it must be a planet.” (Spirit, Soul and Body I, 1985 audiotape #01-0601, side 1)

“You don’t think earth was first, do you? Huh? Well, you don’t think that God made man in His image, and then made earth in some other image? There is not anything under this whole sun that’s new. Are you hearing what I’m saying? This is all a copy. It’s a copy of home. It’s a copy of the Mother Planet. Where God lives, He made a little one just like His and put us on it.” (Following the Faith of Abraham I, 1989 audiotape, #01-3001, side 1)

The death of Jesus on the Cross did not pay the price for sins.
“It wasn’t the physical death on the cross that paid the price for sin ... anybody could do that.” (What Satan Saw on the Day of Pentecost)

“Every prophet that walked the face of the earth under the Abrahamic covenant could have paid the price if it were a physical death only” “When He said ‘It is finished’ on that cross, He was not speaking of the plan of redemption. The plan of redemption had just begun; there were still three days and three nights to be gone through.” “[Jesus] accepted the sin nature of Satan in His own Spirit, and at the moment that He did so, He cried ‘My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?’.” “He [Jesus] was down in that pit and there he suffered the punishment for three horrible days and nights for Adam’s treason ... There is a new birth takes place in the very depths of the earth, when the command of God says ‘That’s enough, loose him and let him go’.” (What Happened from the Cross to the Throne)

Well, that is just a sprinkling, if you really want to know more about this shuckster then just google his name +exposed, heresy, fraud, whatever fill your boots.

As for Francis message of peace, love and unity towards Kenneth Copeland... well I don't even know what to say about that.  It just makes me truly sick to my stomach.

  • The 3 of them are lodge brothers.
And Luker, the quotes you posted are criteria of freemasonic thinking.
Another tell was the constant use of "my brother".  That's freemason speak.

I am horrified that man represents himself as the Vicar of Christ.
Speaking to an audience of heretics, he says "you bless me and I will bless you".

Buckle up - one world religion coming at us fast and furious!
