I know this is not brand new news, but the material is not what I saw in the MSM.

    Source:  http://www.cristiadatradicinalista.blogspot.com/2015/09/le-pape-francois-cuba.html

Pope Francis and Fidel Castro (in the background on the right, his concubine): "very familiar and informal meeting"

"Pope Francis expressed his gratitude to Cuba for its contribution to peace and the preservation of the human species in a world filled with hate and aggression."

Pope's Mass on the "Revolution Square" next to the picture of the communist revolutionary Che Guevara

This one really gets under my skin, somehow:

Some of invitéx: from right to left: Cristina Fernandez Kirchner, President of Argentina, promoter of the "gαy marriage" in his [her] country;  and Raul Castro, Current Communist President of Cuba

I have an acquaintance who was watching the media coverage of the Pope's visit to Washington, and he was very impressed, to the point where he found himself coming out of that viewing (a week of it) thinking that he must be missing the boat as a Trad, and he's missing all the excitement because he's not hob-nobbing with the local parish, et. al.

Then I heard a sermon that addressed this topic in a timely manner, saying that it's easy to get swept away in the media mass appeal, with so many people giving their respects to the Catholic Pope - you think you ought to be among them after all:  he's your pope!

Well, here are a few photos that didn't seem to make the MSM cut (see OP), as far as I saw.  And I expect they did not meet up with the carefully crafted image the MSM wanted to portray for the American audience.  After all, Che Guevara isn't exactly poster-boy material in mainstream Catholic circles.

    Consequently, I have to wonder:

How many more photos of this nature are floating around, perhaps posted on the Internet somewhere?

Furthermore, it seems to me that compiling an album of them, and showing this collection to any Trad Catholics who are feeling a bit "glum" for missing out on the party, might wake them up to the reality of what's going on, and free them from the malaise of feeling left out.

    Know what I mean?

This one might be just right for some viewers but not for others:

"pope francis cuba raoul castro che guevara by Political Cartoonist ..."

Can you find a real crucifix anywhere in the sanctuary?
Oh, right there's a tiny one on the altar with its back to the congregation.
Remember how they complained about the priest's back to the congregation?
And that was used as an excuse to turn the altar around after Vat.II?
Therefore, it appears this foreground statue "stands" in place of any prominent crucifix, no?

Pope Francis officiates Mass at the Plaza de la Revolucion in Havana, Cuba, on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2015. (Al Diaz/Miami Herald/TNS)

This one appears to be Photoshop:

A portrait of Che Guevara overlooks a statue of Jesus at Revolution Square in Havana, where Pope Francis celebrated Mass on Sept. 20, 2015. Standing in the symbolic heart of political Cuba, Francis on Sunday began his first full day in the island with an outdoor Mass attended by a number of leaders, though it was unclear whether the pontiff would later meet with the country?s former leader, Fidel Castro. (Tony Gentile/Pool via The New York Times)

A fabric banner with a "divine mercy" Jesus modified with the words, "All You Come to Me" is draped in front of a public building.

The image on the left isn't Che Guevara's, but whose is it?

I found another photo of Castro with his concubine (the media says "wife") in the background:

The following explains the photo in the previous post, and the image of Camilo Cienfuegos:

Francis met with Fidel Castro, who built a one-party state that improved health and education services for Cubans but also limits democratic freedoms and represses dissent, after celebrating Mass in Havana’s Revolution Square.

There, he spoke beneath massive portraits of revolutionary leaders Ernesto “Che” Guevara and Camilo Cienfuegos built into the facades of state buildings.

To welcome the pope, who helped bring about the recent rapprochement between Cuba and the United States, a similarly giant poster of Jesus Christ was hung nearby.

It looks as though the Cubans might have to get used to having a new image stuck to the walls around town:
