I'm sorry, I just could not resist.

He said this in all sincerity to Anglicans!  As my mother always said, "Consider the source."

  • And the rabbis danced at Berg-oglio's papal election...

"Some preachers will keep silence about the truth, and others will trample it underfoot and deny it. Sanctity of life will be held in derision even by those who outwardly profess it, for in those days Our Lord Jesus Christ will send them not a true Pastor but a destroyer."  St. Francis of Assisi

  • Cardinal Schonborn needs to go back to presiding over clown and balloon masses and leave divinating to the palm readers and con artists (or is that what the concilliar church has become?)

  • You had me up to "Christoph Schönborn."
"This principle is most certain: The non-Christian cannot in any way be Pope. The reason for this is that he cannot be head of what he is not a member. Now, he who is not a Christian is not a member of the Church, and a manifest heretic is not a Christian, as is clearly taught by St. Cyprian, St. Athanasius, St. Augustine, St. Jerome, and others. Therefore, the manifest heretic cannot be Pope." -- St. Robert Bellarmine

  • I also can't resist: Schönborn is full of more hot air than his balloons.

  • This Cardinal Schonborn presided over an assembly where the assembly was encourage to write a prayer or request to God and tie it to a balloon and let go of the balloon so it can ascend to the heavens...

Now that I think about...  This idea makes better sense than attending a novus ordo service.

  • Cardinal Schonborn is a poor manager of time and material.  He doesn't need make up to conduct a clown mass so why waste all that helium on balloons?

The guy just needs to learn how to juggle and ride a unicycle at the same time.

He certainly isn't spending hours and hours pouring over the writings of St. Thomas Aquinas.

Gives a new meaning to "prayers ascending to Heaven," doesn't it? I'll take incense any day.

  • I read the article that was linked in the OP.

The Cardinal described two (2) miracles.  The first was at the conclave and it is not to be spoken of - I guess we can always count on Cardinal Schonborn to be less flamboyant than Cardinal Mahony.  The second one was when a visiting couple from Latin America whispered Bergoglio in the ear of the cardinal.

I guess the cardinal considers homeys voting for their own to be some form of miracle.

  • I can't believe anyone takes Schonborn seriously, even in the NO. The guy is a walking caricature of an old, out of touch liberal.
