You do know, right, that the Heralds is a nutjob spinoff group that have largely pushed TFP out of South America? I've heard TFP members complaining about them and denouncing them as a nutty cult.
Plinio-worship is the central problem of all the groups that have grown out of TFP. When you first brought up Heralds of the Gospel, I clearly stated that they are a spin-off group. I agree with you that it's nutty to say that their dead leader Plinio is "causing global warming" and so on. Worse than that are their sacreligious statements such as "It is no longer I who live but rather Plinio in me who lives." This is not Catholic.
If TFP and TIA want to publicly separate themselves from their followers who continue to worship Plinio, they have a moral responsibility to state that they do not worship Plinio, do not encourage worship of Plinio, that he was just an imperfect sinful human being, that his mother was just an imperfect sinful human being. Their failure to do so speaks volumes.
