Catholics have been known to pray both for and to the Holy Souls. In one of the writings of Archbishop Lefebvre he said that he passed on a relic of his late mother to someone who had need of supernatural help in some issue or another. This man John Armour was with the TFP for just six months, and he puts pen to paper about them. And about Professor Plinio!
About 20 years ago when Fr Schmidberger visited India he told us that some TFPers would treasure the soiled paper napkins used by Plinio's mother at receptions. 20 years later I would say that was because her goodness must have been there for all to see. Plain and simple! I would gladly have one of her napkins as a keepsake/relic.
This is the "litany" sung as a hymn to Dona Lucilia, the mother of Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira:
This hymn came into public domain when it was revealed by Prof. Orlando Fedeli, a member of TFP for over 30 years, who asked Mons. Antonio de Castro Mayer for his opinion on its orthodoxy.
