    • There has been a recent post mentioning that either Pius IX or Pius X considered fleeing to Austria at one point. I do not believe this is true.

    Franz- Joseph offers asylum but the Pope never seriously considered it. The  freemason FJ declines to help the Pope get back the Papal States. The circuмstances were such that Pius IX could not get away with ex-communicating the Emperor, although he would have liked to.

    It is through the scams of FJ and his dupe Puznya that Cardinal Rampolla is libeled as a 'secret occult mason in the OTO' and ' vetoed'-- fortunately it did not matter.
