The FSSP priest in the town I used to live in had lunch with me a few times in a restaurant and was guest in my home. He wore a clerical suit.

The one FSSP priest with whom I'm personally acquainted always wears a cassock in public. Of course, that's only one! I don't know what others do.

An interesting thought occurred to me. Lots of religious order priests where their habit in public. It the cassock is the FSSP habit, that may explain this. I will ask this priest I had lunch with about this if I can track him down.

I've had lunch in public with an FSSP priest, an he wore a cassock.
