  • :laugh1: I have always thought it very funny when Traditionalist priests are referred to as "theologians". As if reading a lot of books and writing articles for the SSPX conferences made you some kind of expert.

It is not because the Pontifical institutions have gone Modernist that they can start calling priests who like to read books "theologians". A doctorate used to be a serious business. You simply can't have it without the institutions.

These people are delusional. They listen to each other so much, in their own little world, that they start believing that they are really great and wise men.

Indeed, they enjoy being the big fish in their tiny little pond ... where as the great majority of them, were they laicized right now, would have to work their way up to being the evening shift manager at their local McDonald's.

  • Yeah, +Karol Woj. was consecrated a bishop in 1958 by Card. Stefan Wyszyński, which means that any bishops Karol W. consecrated from 1958 to 1968 would have been unquestionably valid (at least in my mind).  But then the new rite of episcopal consecration throws everything into question circa 1968.  Because then we have a valid bishop using the new rite.  I just wonder if there was a case of an ordinand requesting of JPII to be consecrated using the traditional rite.  "Excuse me Your Holiness, I know you are a valid bishop, will you please employ the traditional rite?"  What a mess it all is.

  • If the faithful of SSPX knew half the truth, they would leave SSPX.  I have a dear friend in SSPX Phoenix.  I often wondered what kept them there.  It is the clergy who are so clever to omit the truth that the faithful have a right to know.  The clergy, come to find out, tell their faithful, "If we say anything about... we will be in the sin of detraction; therefore pray," and enough is said.  So, the faithful are put in the gear of "ignorance".  The clergy are in the sin of omitting truth.  A game play.

Those of you in SSPX ask yourself, how do the people stay at SSPX, knowing there is wrong doing, the lose of sacraments, the hand shaking of new order etc.  Why stay?  You have to look up where your clergy are moving around too?!

Are there actual examples of shaking hands at Masses or is this more of a comment on the SSPX breakdown in general?

 Do you mean the novus ordo “sign of peace” nonsense? NO!  At least not that I’ve ever seen!  I occasionally use SSPX priests if I know the background since there are still good ones out there. People like Christine Niles would have you believe every last one is a pedo, and/or uncontrolled sex maniac. That is a gross exaggeration.
