  • Where do we go to contribute to the legal fund of the idol-chucker?
Yes, the faithful Catholic men, who stole the PAGAN IDOLS from the Church of Santa Maria Transpontina, should make a confession for violating the 8th Commandment,  BUT, will Bergoglio (“Francis”) go to Confession, HIMSELF, and repent for his sin towards the FIRST Commandment? Most likely and DEFINITELY NOT!

I think you mean the 7th commandment. If so, are you serious? His act was meritorious, quite heroic, and very praiseworthy. He did not do anything that would require him to make a confession.
For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?

    WHAT!?? Would you repeat that?

Since when does cleaning out filth constitute theft? Besides these monstrosities did not belong in that Church.

Of course the valiant men who did this made the mistake to throw them in the river, rather than burning them and throwing the ashes in a sewer.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

Yes, those pagan idols should have been burned, smashed into powder, and then tossed in the trash.
    Lord have mercy.

So they have people praying in front of this thing?  Or else keeping vigil lest they get stolen again?

It’s still considered  “theft” according to the Commandments and Aquinas which needs to be Confessed.  As for Bergoglio, unrepentant sin against the First Commandment is a Mortal Sin and will lead to eternal damnation.

Wrong.  So, according to you, someone would have to confess stealing a scalpel from an abortion clinic?

Theft involves dispossessing someone of a good which they RIGHTFULLY possess.  So, for example, if someone stole my car, and I went and "stole" it back, that is not theft, because they did not rightfully possess the car.  They had no claim in justice to possession of the vehicle.  Similarly, one can have no claim to possessing something that is evil or bad.

Those idols have no right to exist, and no one has the right to possess them.  Possessing them is against the express will of God (the First Commandment), so no one has a right to possess them and no one can possess them in justice.

And why exactly are people placing pictures of (presumably) loved ones, relatives, and friends all around the cursed thing?  Do they think it can intercede for them somehow?  There are also votive candles around it, with votive strongly implying that people are praying to the damned idol.

  • If Francis actually has that thing in St Peter's tomorrow during Mass as we suspect he's going to, I sincerely hope several brave Catholics will stand up and demand it's immediate removal in such a way as to make mainstream news. That photo, I suspect, will sting the sensus catholicus and raise righteous anger in many.

  • I hope someone brings a sledge hammer and destroys that idol, but a metal detector might stop such bravery.

  • Except that that the Pachamama is no virgin at all- there was only one miraculous virgin birth, that of Mary, the mother of God. The Earth is an inanimate object onto which God placed life in all forms. There is no "Mother Earth". That whole concept (imo) is a wishful construct by people who don't want to give due credit to the Creator. Francis himself has stated the statues are "Pachamama", not just ugly, naked and profane images of Mary.  That thing may be your 'mama', but is sure 'aint mine.

In the late 1570s, the Franciscan historian Bernardino de Sahagún denounced the cult at Tepeyac and the use of the name "Tonantzin" or to call her Our Lady in a personal digression in his General History of the Things of New Spain, in the version known as the Florentine Codex.
    Quote
At this place [Tepeyac], [the Indians] had a temple dedicated to the mother of the gods, whom they called Tonantzin, which means Our Mother. There they performed many sacrifices in honor of this goddess ... And now that a church of Our Lady of Guadalupe is built there, they also called her Tonantzin, being motivated by those preachers who called Our Lady, the Mother of God, Tonantzin. While it is not known for certain where the beginning of Tonantzin may have originated, but this we know for certain, that, from its first usage, the word refers to the ancient Tonantzin. And it was viewed as something that should be remedied, for their having [native] name of the Mother of God, Holy Mary, instead of Tonantzin, but Dios inantzin. It appears to be a Satanic invention to cloak idolatry under the confusion of this name, Tonantzin.[31]
Sahagún's criticism of the indigenous group seems to have stemmed primarily from his concern about a syncretistic application of the native name Tonantzin to the Catholic Virgin Mary. However, Sahagún often used the same name in his sermons as late as the 1560s.[32]

When Sahagun denounced Our Lady he came close to causing a riot.

The best method would be a mob of 30 to 50 men to arrive in the church and just surround the idols then leave as a united mob.  Unless you have a similar sized mob to handle such a large number of people there is nothing that can be done in time.  Outside the church you just run away.  This is how criminal gangs shoplift.

Looks like you could smash those with your bare hands ... or at least snap their necks.  Other than that, no metal detector would detect a brick in someone's purse or coat that could be used to pummel the thing into splinters.

For about 2-3 days, and then all will be forgotten as people revert to paying lip service to the "Holy Father".  To quote my dad, "he is neither holy, nor father."
