  • In a similar vein, there are a bunch of conservatives and almost-Trads who are falling all over themselves to criticize Pope Francis, while completely ignoring the fact that ALL the post-Vatican II popes were on the same page. They totally forget about Assisi, the violation of the First Commandment that that their precious JP2 committed.
Oh no, they haven't forgotten those things.  They just don't think they are the same. One such person said that certain of these issues were due to naivete.
For there shall arise false Christs and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders, insomuch as to deceive (if possible) even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

I actually agree with this.  They put a different spin on the same activity because they are fooled by the false piety of St. John Paul II the Great.

It's like the Benedictivacantes who believe that Bergoglio is a manifest heretic, but that Ratzinger was somehow not ... even though (by Cardinal Kasper's own admission) their theology is exactly the same.  Benedict simply did a better job of pretending to be Catholic.  Wojtyla and Ratzinger were very skilled actors and performers.

  • Perhaps these gentlemen were Feeneyites (aka Catholics) ... since their statement equated lack of Baptism with lack of entrance into heaven (Catholic dogma that's universally denied these days even, alas, among Traditional Catholics).

It’s so sad when people ignore reason so as not to upset the false paradigm they’ve grown accustomed to. Yeah, JPII was naive!  :laugh1:

So with this post you're implying that "regular Catholics" believe that Baptism is only necessary for infants.  Do you not accept the dogma taught by Trent that the Sacrament of Baptism is necessary for salvation ... for all people?

  • In saner times, Catholics would have stormed the Vatican and thrown Francis into the Tiber alongside his idols.

Of course, only if the man has been declared outside the Church first, since it's wrong to lay violent hands on a legitimate Vicar of Christ.

  • I see a parallel between the ambiguity related to this Pachamama Virgin and the hostility displayed by Sahagun in Mexico toward the Virgin of Guadalupe.

Except that that the Pachamama is no virgin at all- there was only one miraculous virgin birth, that of Mary, the mother of God. The Earth is an inanimate object onto which God placed life in all forms. There is no "Mother Earth". That whole concept (imo) is a wishful construct by people who don't want to give due credit to the Creator. Francis himself has stated the statues are "Pachamama", not just ugly, naked and profane images of Mary.  That thing may be your 'mama', but is sure 'aint mine.

I see a parallel between the way the Virgin of Guadalupe crushed demonic heathen idolatry and the way these brave men, as Her true sons, threw these abominable pagan idols in the river.

n hindsight, seeing how far the depravity of some in Rome today goes, that they have no shame in drawing their filthy idols out of the water, because they love their idols as they have never loved God, next time, they could be chopped into a 1000 pieces and burned

"Overthrow their altars, and break down their statues, burn their groves with fire, and break their idols in pieces: destroy their names out of those places." (Deut 12:3)
"We wish also to make amends for the insults to which Your Vicar on earth and Your Priests are everywhere subjected [above all by schismatic sedevacantists - Nishant Xavier], for the profanation, by conscious neglect or Terrible Acts of Sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of Your Divine Love; and lastly for the Public Crimes of Nations who resist the Rights and The Teaching Authority of the Church which You have founded." - Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus.

  • “Poche:  “I see a parallel between the ambiguity related to this Pachamama Virgin and the hostility displayed by Sahagun in Mexico toward the Virgin of Guadalupe. “

I see the parallel that paganism has been accepted and blended into Catholicism for a long time.    There were two naked pregnant women statues that were worshipped during Papal Amazon synod event.  Not only was it paganism promoted but sodomy as well.
Santa Muerte is the new paganism that is blasphemous to our Lady of Guadalupe.  There are many in South America who set up altars to Coca Cola. Also, let’s not forget the amount of sex abuse scandals in Argentina, Mexico etc.
Look at Pope Francis who was formed by a false gospel and teaching of Liberal liberation theology and free masonry.  Many Catholics in South America left the Church to become evangelicals.
And yes. There should have been outrage by clergy and laity because of Assisi  where Jesus was denied by Pope John Paul II publicly.  Many Catholics left the church after Vatican II to be evangelicals.  And many left after Assisi event in 1986.

May God bless you and keep you
