I wanted all of you to see pictures of the recent CMRI ordinations. In a recent thread, the discussion was about "conditional" ordinations of Novus Ordo presbyters.
This is a letter written in the recent issue of "Ad Sum", the official publication put out by Bishop Mark Pivarunas, CMRI on the subject.

Excellent. I appreciate that Bp. Pivarunas took the time to reassure the flock as to the validity of Father Oswalt's Holy Orders.
-
If Fr. Oswalt were ordained in the new priestly rite by a bishop ordained pre-1968 (for example Bishop Fulton Sheen) would Bishop Pivarunas have insisted on a conditional or absolute ordination?
-
I expect so. I don't agree with the Bishop's basic premise, but given that premise, the actions and arguments that flow from are perfectly logical.

He insisted on an absolute ordination, to which several people object.
