Classicom, Mary is a messnger, sent to warn and help correct us as God has always raised up prophets to do this....do you also reject La Sallette? how about earlier (earlier then say 1870) Marian apparitions?

also, you sound like a Protestant heretic implying that we "worship" Mary!! what apparition did Mary demand worship? did the prophets demand worship?

how does the messages of Fatima, La Salette, Akita,etc somehow raise Mary and diminish Christ?

Apparently, you also have to reject the Rosary, then too, since it resulted from Marian apparitions....St. Dominic and all the rest...

"No qualified Catholics left on earth. "

this is adenial of Mt 16, no SV would deny Mt 16, heck, even CM thinks he is the last qualified Catholic left, would not say what you just said.

Classicom hence denies Christ's words..

you are ground down and will be ground to dust at the judgment! :roll-laugh1: :rahrah: :dancing-banana:

I said "A Pope can not trump GOD and the Scriptures"

 OCHA, you did not care about that because you worship the structure of the Church, or more likely the creature rather than the Creator. Your faith is like a paint by numbers "artist". If one Billion Catholics are in apostasy , that is not your concern because you are painting by the numbers you were given. Mommy taught you that you can't go wrong if you stick with the numbers.

  The reason Jack Chick is so successful in your neck of the woods is because of people like you. You can't beat Jack Chick unless you start telling the truth and admit that the Devil has planted a lot of toxic weeds in the Church. Instead of the "Faith will be preserved in Portugal" you have what is now described as a pedophile paradise. Hey boy, you have some splainin to do with Mr. Chick.

You may want to do research on Catholicism before you start telling Traditional Catholics how to worship.

  La Sallette? That is an interesting question.

Pius IX was crowned on 21 June 1846.

La Salette - September 1846, Pius IX

=============

  Both La Salette and Quito Ecuador messages warn of Rome loosing the faith.  Pius IX trumped the prophets by his "infallible" doctrine .

To me these messages are logical, but you don't need them if you relied on scripture and tradition.

  More pieces of the puzzle.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pope_Pius_IX#Papal_election

The election of the liberal Pius IX created much enthusiasm in Europe and elsewhere.[citation needed] Celebrations and ovations were offered in several countries.[citation needed]  Although he was not really known and had done nothing on an administrative level before his election, and although there were no utterances from him, he was soon the most notorious and popular person in the world.[citation needed] English Protestants celebrated him as a friend of light and a reformer of Europe towards freedom and progress.[9]  It was noted that he was elected without political influences from outside, in the best years of his life, pious, progressive, intellectual, decent, friendly, open to everybody.[10

  Wow - Just like John Paul II's popularity . One week TV coverage of his funeral ??? Pius IX was JPII's mentor hero ?

Sound like a Satanic force here ? In know, don't let the facts get in the way of your belief system. That's something heretics and Protestants get involved with.

=====================

Loose ends - since you brought it up, a lot of people on the net are talking about Sept. 19 as some sort of doom day.

And on the 19th of September 1846, the feast day of Our Lady of Sorrows

Pius IX was a bad Pope because he was John Paul II's mentor hero? As many people as JPII canonized, I'm sure he had plenty of "heroes", both good and bad ones. The logic you're using here doesn't make much sense. If St. Peter was Paul VI's mentor hero or whatever, should we say that Peter was a bad Pope? Of course, no way could Peter have been the "mentor hero" of someone like Paul VI, but you get my point.
