HOFFMAN'S LETTER TO POPE BENEDICT XVI

"I believe in freedom of speech for Bishop Williamson"
http://revisionistreview.blogspot.com/2009/02/hoffmans-letter-to-pope-benedict-xvi.html

Pope Benedict XVI

Vatican City

Your Holiness

Is it not true that under the Second Vatican Council's doctrine of
Religious Liberty, that Bishop Richard N. Williamson has the right to
express his conscience and opinion on the subject of execution gas
chambers in Auschwitz? Why is the Council's doctrine of liberty being
suspended in his case?

Your Secretary of State has made belief in the "Shoah" a criterion for
holding office in the Church. Is the rabbinic "Shoah" mysticism now a
dogma of the Roman Catholic Church?

If so, on what Biblical, patristic and theological basis is the warning
of the Apostle Paul in Titus 1:14  now overthrown?

Do Catholics no longer have the right to doubt or question aspects of
secular history?  Does the Magsterium of the Church now decree the
undoubted veracity of the figure of Six Million deceased Judaic persons,
and the undoubted existence of a mass killing operation in
Auschwitz-Birkenau, conducted by means of poison gas chambers?

Are you aware of the extent to which the Crucifixion of Christ has been
replaced by Auschwitz as the central ontological event of western
history? Do you wish to be complicit in the disastrous effects that
continue to accrue from this derogation of Jesus and deification of man?

I firmly believe in freedom of speech for Bishop Williamson.  I am
deeply troubled by your attempted suppression of his rights in this
matter. It would seem that, under your pontificate, casting doubt on a
supposition of secular history is now a de facto heresy. I can find no
grounds for this innovation in Scripture or Catholic tradition.

I also urge you to compassionately use your influence to solicit the
immediate release of the imprisoned chemist Germar Rudolf, who has been
jailed for more than a year in Germany, for writing scholarly books
(http://www.vho.org/dl/ENG/loth.pdf) on the technical and scientific
aspects of the alleged homicidal gas chambers. His suffering and that of
his young family must not be ignored or dismissed. He deserves mercy. He
has committed no crime. His continuing incarceration in Germany is a
scandal and a disgrace for which German Chancellor Angela Merkel bears
grave responsibility.

Sincerely,

Michael Hoffman

Good letter from Michael Hoffman, but who sees the big picture and has a voice in the Catholic Church? - Nobody.  Why should God permit the functioning of the visible church where for the chruch leadership has apporoved of papal infallibility for 139 years. A Pope can not trump GOD and the Scriptures.

The Fatima Hoax - How many Catholics will loose their faith when they figure out they have been deluded by various Popse for many years. Scripture warned us about worshiping the creature more than the Creator. Mary is a creature, not a god.

The fruits of 139 Ecuмenical years - The Church won't even preach the Gospel of Christ to the world. They are more concerned with worldly opinion (diabolic) and acutally deny Christ in all their words and actions. All religions worship the same god according to Vatican II. Do you see why God would have to send two Witnesses from Heaven to teach the faith?  No qualified Catholics left on earth.

So "faithful" Catholics have become like drug enablers. Their false compassion for the world acutally extinguishes Christian spirit,  which is the only true light of the world. When something is wrong you have to act like Jesus and speak out .

I was expecting you to call us Mary-worshippers in your response (which I am still awaiting) to my query in another post about your position on the Blessed Virgin Mary.  But I looked back far enough and found it in your earlier posts.  So you can save your self the trouble of being pinned down again, as I now have my clear understanding of where you stand.

Your position on Mary and your deriding blasphemous anti-Catholic rediculing phrase "Club Infallible" are what I have heard all of my life from fundamentalist anti-Catholic protestants living here in the Bible Belt.  I have beat it down with them and I won't rest until I beat it down with you!

My Church, the true Church, has PLENTY of problems that I pray folks are here to sort out, console each other, and perhaps have some productive dialogue on getting to a resolution of those problems (N.O., laxity in Catholic teaching and Catholic customs, disrespect of the Real Presence, etc., etc.).  But your imagined problems of "worshipping" Mary and "Club Infallible," and crying about the Inquisitions, are NOT counted among those problems that CATHOLICS consider real.

As you can see we have MANY real problems which Jack Chick, the fundamentalist anti-Catholic recluse publisher, who I am quickly becoming convinced must be your mentor, writes on his website about how to exploit.

So why don't you run along and play elsewhere so we can take care of real business without being subjected to your anti-Catholic rhetoric, and quotes from heretics and travel guides!

I said "A Pope can not trump GOD and the Scriptures"

OCHA, you did not care about that because you worship the structure of the Church, or more likely the creature rather than the Creator. Your faith is like a paint by numbers "artist". If one Billion Catholics are in apostasy , that is not your concern because you are painting by the numbers you were given. Mommy taught you that you can't go wrong if you stick with the numbers.

The reason Jack Chick is so successful in your neck of the woods is because of people like you. You can't beat Jack Chick unless you start telling the truth and admit that the Devil has planted a lot of toxic weeds in the Church. Instead of the "Faith will be preserved in Portugal" you have what is now described as a pedophile paradise. Hey boy, you have some splainin to do with Mr. Chick.

Classiccom,

The part you were fond enough of to re-quote distorts the Papacy, Infallibility, and, boiled down to its essence, sounds a whole lot like sola Scriptura.  This has resulted in numerous protestant churches with many different contradictory beliefs, each claiming to be right, and many claiming to be the only path to salvation?

It has nothing to do with the numbers, but everything to do with where the line of authority, based on the most compelling evidence of which I am aware, is found!

And you not only stated what you are still proud to claim, but also "Scripture warned us about worshipping the creature more than the Creator.  Mary is a creature, not a god."

1) How many of the Sacraments do you believe are still available today?

2) Are there any valid bishops still around, in your view, and please identify them?

3) Suppose you wanted to convert someone with little or no current knowledge of Catholicism to the Faith, what reasons would you present as to why they should convert?

4) What specific Catechism or other CATHOLIC source, in addition to the Bible, would you use to train a new Catechumen?
