  • Bergoglio blesses protestant ministers, even the old priests at our local "indult" won't do that. It is indicative that this man has no intention to worship the One, True God but rather a god of all religions.

  • VATICAN II continues...........! The never ending story. :geezer:
"It is impious to say, 'I respect every religion.' This is as much as to say: I respect the devil as much as God, vice as much as virtue, falsehood as much as truth, dishonesty as much as honesty, Hell as much as Heaven."

  • I believe the choice of "Franciscus" is linked to Assisi, not the great Saint Francis.

  • Francis I is no more a valid Pope than Arthur Fonzarelli, also known as the Fonz.

Francis is an Antipope. Pray that God will grant us a good Pope and save the Church.
I abjure and retract my schismatic support of the evil CMRI.Thuc condemned the Thuc nonbishops
"Now, therefore, we declare, say, determine and pronounce that for every human creature it is necessary for salvation to be subject to the authority of the Roman Pontiff"-Pope Boniface VIII.
If you think Francis is Pope,do you treat him like an Antipope?

  • Good link, Peregrine.
Love this gem, right from the horses mouth:
    Quote
BERGOGLIO: Staying, remaining faithful implies an outgoing. Precisely if one remains in the Lord one goes out of oneself. Paradoxically precisely because one remains, precisely if one is faithful one changes. One does not remain faithful, like the traditionalists or the fundamentalists, to the letter. Fidelity is always a change, a blossoming, a growth. The Lord brings about a change in those who are faithful to Him. That is Catholic doctrine. Saint Vincent of Lerins makes the comparison between the biologic development of the person, between the person who grows, and the Tradition which, in handing on the depositum fidei from one age to another, grows and consolidates with the passage of time:

    ruh roh. Buckle up, traddies.

  • You have excellent insight because of your background, Pat.  I was previously quite  novus ordo until about 10 years ago..  which is like being protestant!   :dancing-banana:
Glad we're on the same team now.

  • Quote from: Matto

I asked this question before and I did not get an answer. What does Fellay have to gain from selling out the SSPX? I do not understand his actions because I don't know what he would gain from them.

Matto, about two years or so ago, you could almost say there was a general consensus among Society priests that "canonical recognition" was most desirable. It was said that it would benefit the apostolate and bring into Tradition all the fence sitters and other interested Catholics. One priest, at present tending towards the Resistance, shocked me then by saying that there was no other way. ( I asked him why Abp L didnt go in for this canonical recognition, and he fell silent ). It was a mystery. Why did they want to be canonical recognised by a bunch of Modernist apostates?

What would Fellay gain from his actions? He would be seen as the leader who removed the heads of his ostriches from the sand in order to live in the 21st Century. We would gain nothing from joining the Conciliarists, but Fellay, after extensive dealing with them perhaps decided that they were nice, normal people, with a very decent pope and that we were in a out of date rut and had to be pulled out.

Remember, he is prepared to sacrifice doctrine. Yes indeed, what will he gain. He's still after a deal.
