Never voted, never will.  Pointless Dog-and-Pony Show.

[*Not* judging those who did vote...just saying I don't bother.]

Smart guy.  I tip my hat to you on this matter.  I did vote enthusiastically even for Pat Buchanan and for Alan Keyes ... and even with some delight for Ron Paul.  I realized that Buchanan had in fact been robbed of the vote, and then so was Ron Paul, but I guess I showed up to vote "just in case" there might be some amount of legitimacy to it, where if people voted in overwhelming numbers they couldn't get away with fraud.  Yeah, right.  But that was the narrative.

I now realize, later than yourself, that it's always been a scam, that people like Buchanan and Keyes and Ron Paul never had a chance -- and I feel like a total moron for voting at all and not seeing right through it.

Even in the so-called "locals", apart from city council maybe, event he Congressional seats are completely rigged, as are the Senate and governor spots.  Here in Ohio Hillbilly Vance came out of nowhere with huge money from Thiel to get elected, and even with the money the numbers were garbage.  Vance was running in the primary against a couple of very well known and higly respected candidates, at least among Republicans ... whereas Vance had made really derogatory comments about Trump in 2016/2017, and he would not have had the slightest chance of winning, against Josh Mandel in particular.  Yes, he's Jєωιѕн, but as Treasurer, he massively cleaned up the budget, and corruption, did things like publish the salaries and other compensation for public servants (state employees) ... and he was immensely popular, also having been a Marine who had served in Iraq.  There's no way Vance (Who?) won the primary, much less the general election for Senate.  They had 5 candidates in the Republican primary, who conveniently split the vote to let Hillbilly through with about 32% of the vote (next two combined had about 45%), and even that was largely acquired by vote rigging.

THEN, immediately after the Dobbs decision to somewhat reverse Roe v. Wade, somehow the public in Ohio voted in an amendment to the Ohio Constitution to protect unrestricted abortion in Ohio ... this in a state where they passed a Heartbeat Law in 2019 by 60% vote of representatives, and where state representatives had been mostly red even when there was an occasional Democrat governor who got in.  So Ohio went from being one of the best on abortion to one of the worst, in a matter of 3 years.  How does this happen?  Well, it turned out that huge amounts of money flooded into Ohio ... undoubtedly of Jєωιѕн origin, to get this thing passed, undoubtedly only by vote rigging.

So, yeah ... it's a fraud, and I don't think I'd even bother to go out and vote for the dog catcher next time around.

Never voted, never will.  Pointless Dog-and-Pony Show.
When I was a younger man in the military - right our wrong - I took my dispassionate oath to defend the Constitution from all enemies both domestic and aboard seriously enough that I willingly abstained from politic/voting because whomever the President is - is your Chief - you respect the office and carry out orders dispassionately. I knew many of a similar persuasion.

I also never "judge" people for not voting. "Judge" them for what? Performing a pointless exercise that changes nothing? There is idealism and then there is reality.
