I am wondering whether or not perhaps some of the members on this forum are "Old Catholics" - it didn't occur to me until now that perhaps some of them might be.
-
hm, maybe not, I don't think anyone here outright rejects papal infallibility as not being a dogma of the Church...
-
*BUZZ*
That answer is incorrect.
Though it's crazy, we have "Classiccom" who repeatedly refers to Catholics as "club infallible" and "the infallibles".
I'm surprised that went by unnoticed by some.
I guess it just goes to show you we have EVERY *groan* type of Catholic here on CathInfo.
It's like the moon is always full in the skies of CathInfo.

LOL ha! That gave me a good chuckle...

Groans Galore :
Words that sound like infallible :
I N F I D E L
I N F E R N A L
I N C O H E R E N T
(sounds like Novus Ordo , right ?)

Yes I am getting a little discouraged. With someone in the SSPX you can have debate. But I don't know what to do with Old Catholics or Feeneyites.
I'm just waiting for a Beghard to show up

If *groan* means *so-called*, since there is only one *true* type of Catholic.

Ok, I will shake the digital dust off my feet and move on.
Check out that link for the St. Augustine book. This is a true Catholic. You guys spend all your time trying to patch up the sinking ship Club Infallible which was dechristened in 1870.
Why should anyone wish to join a pack of perverts?

Matthew 25:31-46 - this is the real deal. Forget about the 900 pages of twisted Marion theology written by a hunchback. ( Sorry Matt, I am sure you probably have a special deal on that book)
"It is God, therefore, working in man, who "reforms" him. It is He who is the source of man's love and delight, of the objects which engage his love, and of the insatiable desire to move beyond them, to Himself, who is Supreme Truth. "
(Beauty and revelation in the thought of Saint Augustine p. 263)
